Lamb Of God DVD Due Before End Of Year

Lamb Of God have set "Terror and Hubris" as the title for their forthcoming DVD, due out by the end of the year via the group's official web site (early 2004 through all retail outlets). The disc, which is set to be released with a list price of $9.99, will consist of 13 chapters and 11 extras, including 4-5 live performance tracks taken from this year's Hellfest and New England Hardcore and Metal Festival, all three Lamb Of God videos, interviews with the group and individual members, promo videos and various self-recorded behind-the-scenes material.

Says drummer Chris Adler, "This is a quick snapshot of the past several years and a way for us to make a video collection for ourselves and the people that have helped this band build without insulting them with a big price tag."

In other news, Lamb Of God have officially confirmed that they have inked a new recording contract with Epic Records (Sony Music) via a special arrangement with their previous label Prosthetic Records. The signing was officially announced by the band during their appearance of MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" this past Saturday night (October 18).

Lamb Of God's sophomore album, "As The Palaces Burn", has shifted 31,183 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Amen To Release Next Record On EatUrMusic

System of a Down guitarist Daron Malakian is trying to give Amen new life by releasing their next record, 'Death Before Musick', on his Columbia Records imprint label EatUrMusic. "The band has had some tough luck," Malakian told MTV News. "That's the only reason Amen hasn't gotten as big as they should be. There was this whole misconception that they were a nĂ¼-metal band, which they're not. They're very rock and roll. Then they had problems with their label falling apart, so they never got the chance to tour properly, and they haven't had a single out."
