Behemoth Singer Comments On European Tour

Polish Black metallers Behemoth have just returned from their 33 shows European tour in support to their recent album "Demigod". Head here to view some live pics.

Nergal was very excited when we talked to him about this affair...

"This tour was a blast. I could go on and talk for hours how good it was but I have to keep it brief...This was so far the best European tour we've done on our own. I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't have be en as successful as it was without all these great bands we shared the stage with: KRISIUN, INCANTATION, RAGNAROK, PUNGENT STENCH, HYPNOS...We'd love to send our highest gratitude to all the guys in these bands as well as to all the crew who made this tour so smooth and easy to go thru. U R THE BEST!!! If anyone ask me for the best band I've toured with...I will always say: KRISIUN, the most easy goin and hard working people I've met in this business. Guys, it was a huge challenge and great pleasure to meet u all again. We had a great time...INCANTATION is just a living underground legend. I don't need to say it was an honor to meet them on the same stage...RAGNAROK were also great companions and we had lotsa fun (Don't call me a bitch!!! Ha ha...)...PUNGENT STENCH was as good as I thought they would be. Thanx for killer time mates! HYPNOS, our old Czech brothers were solid as usual (Bruno! Drink more...and join us on the way to borthel next time, ha ha!). Words of appreciation go to Johan from Metallysee for making this tour possible and Pedro for trying his best! THANK U GUYS!!!

Tommy Lee Lusts for Angelina Jolie

Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee shared his lust for Angelina Jolie, perhaps forgetting his abusive history with ex-wife Pamela Anderson might elicit some groans for his remarks. The rocker told Elle magazine for their January issue when asked if he had been with the actress: "I haven't, but if I do, I swear to God I'm going to tackle her and lick her and hit her over the head and drag her back to my house, caveman-style."

Ted Nugent Offers To Take Care Of Illinois Deer

Chicago's WBBM-TV is repoting that Ted Nugent is offering up his services in a dilemma that has folks in North Barrington saying "oh deer."

People living in the Wynstone Estates say deer are tearing up their landscaping. So last week the village voted to allow bow hunters to come in and kill about 20 deer.

But one critic called it dangerous to hunt in such a populated area and likened bow hunters to "six-pack swilling fans of Ted Nugent."

"The Nuge" responded, offering to personally take care of North Barrington's deer population.

“All they got to do is give me a call, and I'll whack 'em and stack 'em and kill 'em and grill 'em and celebrate with the venison party God has blessed us with," Nugent said.

Nugent went on to call critics of deer hunting ignorant, citing the growing number of drivers killed in deadly crashes involving deer.

A WBBM-TV report on this story can be viewed at this location.

Unchanging Slayer Still Playing Own Steady Metal

An article on Slayer has been featured on the HoustonChronice.com:

Slayer is loudly closing in on nearly a quarter of a century of bringing the noise. But you won't see the California thrash-metal pioneers doing group therapy à la Metallica to keep the band together.

Though such a touchy-feely approach worked for that band, relationships between Slayer's members are as rudimentary as their head-crunching brand of rock 'n' roll.

"No way, dude," guitarist Kerry King says. "No way would you catch us talking to someone about things that aren't working right. If you can't handle your own (expletive) problems, then too bad. I don't need to see somebody to tell me how I feel. Metallica, they make tons of money. I'd say go figure it out yourselves, guys."
