Unchanging Slayer Still Playing Its Own Steady Metal

Band Photo: Slayer (?)
An article on Slayer has been featured on the HoustonChronice.com:
Slayer is loudly closing in on nearly a quarter of a century of bringing the noise. But you won't see the California thrash-metal pioneers doing group therapy à la Metallica to keep the band together.
Though such a touchy-feely approach worked for that band, relationships between Slayer's members are as rudimentary as their head-crunching brand of rock 'n' roll.
"No way, dude," guitarist Kerry King says. "No way would you catch us talking to someone about things that aren't working right. If you can't handle your own (expletive) problems, then too bad. I don't need to see somebody to tell me how I feel. Metallica, they make tons of money. I'd say go figure it out yourselves, guys."

I agree that slayer is the greatest band in the world, although GHUA, their last album fell short of my expectations, I am however still waiting on a new relaease to see if SLAYER will maintain it's bloody glory......Are they done? or are they just preparing a wicked new track that will remind of us of just who exactly is the KINGS OF THRASH.....and who has just been filling their wallets (Metallica aka Alternica)

That Kerry King is a damn good man, who makes good f***in music. He knows what he's talkin about. I think its pretty f***ing dumb that Metallica wasted a sh**load of money on therapy. If you need to spend money to keep you and your bandmates together, should you really be playing together? And I can't wait for those new Slayer tunes!!!

what he's trying to say is Metallica would do anything to stay together to make more money.

I'm with Kerry King man why would you f***en go tell some d*** head your problems, like they'd be able to figure them out, they probably have their own problems anyway. Slayer are the greatest, they don't need any help.
