Corey Taylor Performs "Would?" w/ Alice In Chains
STONE SOUR's Corey Taylor joined ALICE IN CHAINS onstage at Saturday's 99.5 Fan Fest show at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in San Antonio, TX to sing lead vocals on the ALICE IN CHAINS classic 'Would?' as thousands of fans cheered them on.
Next up for STONE SOUR, they'll embark on the "Music As A Weapon Tour" with DISTURBED in November. Meanwhile, the band's debut single "Through Glass" has been #1 at Mainstream and Active Rock for five weeks, marking the first #1 single in the band’s career. The song is also #4 on Billboard's Modern Rock tracks chart and the video can be seen on MTV2.
Twelfth Gate Still Seeking Frontman
Chicago-based progressive thrash metal band TWELFTH GATE is officially back on the lineup for the 2006 MadPower festival. As previously reported, TWELFTH GATE is currently seeking a new vocalist, which initially forced them to cancel, but have since recruited friend and EDEN'S FALL (also performing) vocalist John Barr to fill in for their performance at the fest.
MadPower is an annual event held in the Madison, Wisconsin area as a showcase for progressive, power metal and thrash metal bands. The all-day, 18+ festival will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21 at The Warehouse Stage in Middleton, WI and will feature the following metal acts:

It Dies Today's video for their track "Sacred Heart (Sacre Coeur)" has been posted online here. The groups new album "Sirens" is due to arrive in stores on October 17th through Trustkill.
Bullets and Octane Added To Papa Roach Tour
BULLETS AND OCTANE have been added to the Zippo Hot Tour. They will be the opening act for PAPA ROACH and (HED)P.E. for their entire trek. The band is currently overseas touring with STONE SOUR.

The Agony Scene have recruited Matt Horwitz as their new drummer. The group are currently writing new material for their next album which they plan to begin recording by the years end. A release early next year through Abacus is expected.

The Storm Signs To Innerstrength Records
Pennsylvania metalcore band The Storm have recently signed a deal with Innerstrength Records to release their debut album. Titled "Relentless," the effort has already been recorded and artwork is being handled by Derek Hess. You can check out some of their material on their MySpace page.
Fjord Recruits New Guitarist
Recent Eulogy Recordings' signees Fjord have recruited Kenneth Daugherty, guitarist for The End of the Universe to play for them full-time, including touring. Daugherty intends to remain with both bands.
