Trent Reznor Narrates Graphic PETA Video
NINE INCH NAILS mainman Trent Reznor has narrated PETA's latest "undercover video" — an "exposé that reveals the abuse of cats and dogs in China's barbaric fur trade," according to a press release. He also autographed an iPod — with the video downloaded on it — which peta2 will award to the person who sends Reznor’s video to the most people.
"Every year, millions of cats and dogs are killed for their fur," says Reznor. "[The animals'] weakened bodies are bludgeoned, hanged, bled, or strangled with wire nooses to kill them."
"Cat and dog fur can only be identified with expensive DNA tests, so there's no way of knowing what — or whom — you are buying," says peta2 Manager Dan Shannon. "Buying anything with fur — even if it's 'just a little trim' — supports one of the most gruesome industries on the planet."

Vader Banned In Malaysia
VADER is on the list of 228 metal bands banned in Islamic Malaysia. The National Fatwa Council issued the religious decree against the "black metal cult", citing practices in which members stamp on the holy Koran, drink alcohol and freely engage in sex. Council chair Shukor Husin said the cult's practices, based on US rock band Metallica which has used symbols including an inverted cross, went against the teachings of Islam and could propel a Muslim out of the religion. Bled Across Miles Seeking Drummer and Guitarist
Bled Across Miles is seeking a drummer and guitarist.
"We have tours set up for April and plan to record a full-length this summer. If your're interested in trying out for our drummer or guitarist position, here's the scoop..."
"We are based out of Baltimore, MD. We practice twice a week. You've got to be dedicated, we're going to be on tour more often so that means you'll have to be able to do it. 18-23 age range would be cool but it's not written in stone. To be honest the few things that really matter are that you feel confident you can play our material. 4 songs are on myspace and we still play them live. There are about 5 other songs we havn't recorded yet that run in the same vein as 'rebel in full.....' rocky parts, tech parts, and off time breakdowns. Anyone can try out but before we set up something all we ask is that you try to learn 'rebel in full feather' as best you can before hand so we have a place to start with. We're all really easy going guys and are in this for our love of heavy music and the fun it brings. No rockstar fantasies or ego maniacs. The place to contact is www.myspace.com/bam or Gonepostal21220@yahoo.com."

With the immense reception to last year's album "Mythology," he decided to bring back several of the available players that made it happen. "This is the 4th solo record of mine that Zakk has played on," explains Sherinian. "Zakk is the real deal and I am very fortunate to be able to work with him."
The 2006 all-star line-up is comprised of Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society/Ozzy), John Petrucci (ex-Dream Theater), Steve Lukather (Toto), Simon Phillips (Toto, The Who, Judas Priest), Tony Franklin (The Firm/Blue Murder), and Brian Tichy (Billy Idol, Ozzy) and other surprise special guests.
