Trent Reznor Narrates 'Extremely Graphic' PETA Video

NINE INCH NAILS mainman Trent Reznor has narrated PETA's latest "undercover video" — an "exposé that reveals the abuse of cats and dogs in China's barbaric fur trade," according to a press release. He also autographed an iPod — with the video downloaded on it — which peta2 will award to the person who sends Reznor’s video to the most people.

"Every year, millions of cats and dogs are killed for their fur," says Reznor. "[The animals'] weakened bodies are bludgeoned, hanged, bled, or strangled with wire nooses to kill them."

"Cat and dog fur can only be identified with expensive DNA tests, so there's no way of knowing what — or whom — you are buying," says peta2 Manager Dan Shannon. "Buying anything with fur — even if it's 'just a little trim' — supports one of the most gruesome industries on the planet."

You can watch the video at this location [WARNING: This video is graphic].

PETA is nothing but an animal extremists terrost group who fire bomb animal test labs and juxtaposion holocaust pictures with animals in processing farms. The president of PETA looks like Celine F***ing Dion. Imagine of her getting attacked by pit bulls. That will change her mind about animals today. Though I think using dogs and cats for their fur is a very bad idea. Why not using cows for crying out loud! Use foxes or a few rabbits as fur. I'm not one of those crazy f***heads. I hopefully Trent will back of this capmpaign though agreed on this one issuse (I own one cat as pet) NOT the other Sh**ty issues like campainging aganst KFC or rather go naked than to wear fur and Sh** like that.

If PETA ruled world there are no zoos, we have no pets, no dogs that help the blind, no medicines, no circuses, so long shamu, no horseracing, no horseback riding, no rodeo, no fishing, no animal actors on movies or television, etc

I'm not going vegan and i never will. BTW what do you think about Pamela Anderson?

Why slam someone for doing something they obviously believe in? I applaud Trent for taking a stand on something so gruesome and barbaric. I loved NIN before and this makes me respect Trent even more! This in no way takes away from his music at all and anyone who would think that wasn't a real fan to begin with.

I'm glad I ate meat for 20 years of my life, just so I can see how truly f***ing disgusting and unneeded it is. There are 1000x more reasons to not eat meat than there are supporting it. Just think about the fact that the animals people eat get there nutrients from plants! So why eat second hand nutriets? Elephants are vegetarians, and there big and strong. Generally meat eaters have nastier tempers, horrible b.o., less compasion, and there bodies have more toxins built up. Meat eating animals perspire from their tongue, vegetarian animals perspire from their skin. I feel stronger, healthier, and happier now that I have traded burgers and chicken wings for the thousands of vegetarian foods available. Meat should only be a last resort, when there is no other food. With all the variety in our society, the only excuse for continuing to eat meat is pure ignorance and denial of what you are doing.

Peta isn't my thing. I eat meat and I f***ing like it but I still keep my meat consumption down to two or three times a week.

You'll find that you stay in good shape, feel better, think faster if you eat a little meat and a balance of everything else. Yes a --little-- fat and carbs are "good" for you.

Whats killing people fast is the food by the same name. McDonalds will give your stomach it's own zip code and give your a$$hole 8 kinds of cancer before your 40 if you eat that sh** regularly.

Whats done to these cats and dogs is indeed cruel (do you have a dog or cat !...would you want that to happen to them) but it's happening in a country that is so unlike our own it's stupid to even get upset about it.
Unless we were to impose some pretty harsh trade laws on China they have no reason to stop the animal cruelty, with Howdy Doody in office that won't be happening. So why even get upset about it. It won't be changing anytime soon.

The point thats being missed is that the animals are being battered not for food but to be skinned for fur...I only got on the food rant because senzu bean brought it up.

Re-read my post. I wasn't condemning anyone....

What kills me is that someone like you, clearly able to reason your way through a discussion, would resort to such childish and simplistic right-wing slang to bulk up your arguement. It's f***ing pathetic...

I certainly never defended Clinton in my post either.....christ, how could I?....... but I seem to remember less social dischord, a better economy, better international relations and fewer preemptive wars over weapons that never existed....We just have a differnt kind of hick in office now....A less rational one.

And before you label me a psycho liberal college brainwashed imbicile I hold both Reagan and Bush Sr. in higher regard than either Dubbya or Clinton.

Peta is batty, but so is anyone who blindly supports the current leaderships incredible lack of foresight and corruption.

If you use animals for your own selfish desires, doesn't matter what it is, than you lack mercy. People sure like to recieve mercy, but few know how to give it.

"Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet." -- Albert Einstein

If you really believe humans are meant to eat meat, then using just your bare hands go out and catch and animal, kill it, rip it's skin or scales open, and chomp into it, like all natural meat eating animals. If you can't, then you can't support humans eating meat.
WE DON'T NEED TO HARM ANIMALS TO LEAD A HAPPY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!

"I think in the next ten or twenty years, we'll have evidence [showing that a vegetarian diet is superior] that is as strong as the evidence that cigarette smoking causes lung cancer. In my view, it's plenty strong now." --T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D., director of the China Health Project

To continue the smoking analogy a bit further, I would like to submit that meat-based diets affect everyone in much the same way that second-hand smoke can affect the health of a nonsmoker. This is because of the disastrous effects that the meat industry has on the environment.

Can't argue with the enviroment angle. Livestock manure and grazing habbits pollute and even cause flash flooding.....f***ed up stuff.....
I personally and perhaps selfishly believe that incorporating a little meat into ones diet is more beneficial than damning.....

My girl friend is a vegetarian (she eats fish maybe once or twice a month) and she bruises easily. She hit her elbow on kitchen counter last week and the bruise is very much still there.....lack of iron and protein.....

However I've noticed she is more even tempered...Shes lost quite a bit of weight down to 100 lbs even from 114...and she had a tiny frame to begin with....Going out to eat is tough though, she struggles to find something on the menu at times......The vegetarian way is not an easy one and I don't know if the pro's outweigh the cons but I respect the decision to go that route.

if anything, being a veg is much easier. It's less hassle, less messy, and you don't have to take the life of a creature that can feel pain. To RememberMetal?: Tell your girlfriend do some training with weights or martial arts or yoga. You need to excercise or you'll be weak with any diet. If being a vegetarian is inferior, then why did people like Einstien, Socrates, and Leonardo Da Vinci become vegetarians? They were obviously some of the greatest thinkers in history, with brains uncontaminated by meat.

to Senzu bean/xeno, one in the same....

Because I'm a creature of habbit and cow is good I won't be changing my ways anytime soon...... I've tried the fake meat and some of it --IS-- quite good, but I think my diet is fairly balanced.

My meat consumption is substantially lower than most. I jog, lift and do sit ups, I like some vegetables and many fruits, V8 spicey is alright and I drink water often. About 1-4 meals a week involve a meat of some kind though. No fast food...Ever.

My gf isn't so much into the V8 or the working out (she jogs twice a week) but shes all about the Morningstar/Boca/Lightlife stuff/ 8th Continent soy milk. Which is why I eat less animal (by)products than most.

I'm not too thrilled about animals dying for my belly to be fed for a few hours, but I think my relatively light animal consumption is probably less risky/difficult than either extreme on a less worldly level....

I do expect meat to be obsolete or uncommon toward the end of my lifetime however and would like to see the rest of the world heading in that direction.

People don't understand unless they have an animal they love very much. God didn't put dogs and cats on the earth to eat, he put them on for companiounship and to enjoy. Trent, I 'm sure feels that way about his dog and that why he did this Peta viedo. With his transformation he doing a lot of things, I am sure he didn't think he would ever do. I love the old Trent and the new Trent, he gets more outstanding with age, like wine. The person who made the comment about ,if you upset at Trent for doing the viedo, then you weren't a fan to begin with., your 100 persent right. By the way With Teeth is one of the best albums in the world, can't people just be happy that Trent is not on drugs anymore, he finally found a peace in him self to change his life. You don't have to be opn drugs to make great music.
