Homestar Runner Covers Death Metal
The hugley popular online cartoon Homestar Runner has taken it upon themselves to cover death metal in their latest "Email" skit. You can view the cartoon directly at this location (requires Flash).
I'm not a huge fan myself, so I will provide Wikipedia's synopsis of the Internet phenomenon:
"Homestar Runner (often abbreviated HR, HSR or H*R) is a cartoon series which is generally distributed as Macromedia Flash animations available from HomestarRunner.com. It mixes an absurdist sense of humor with copious references to 1980s and 1990s pop culture, notably video games, classic television and popular music. Although originally conceived as a book written for children, the series is most popular with (and has increasingly catered to) college/university students and young adults."
"Cartoons nominally center on Homestar Runner, a clumsy and unintelligent athlete. The antagonist Strong Bad, however, is more popular among many fans, and the series of cartoons in which he answers email from viewers is the most prominent feature of the site. Strong Bad works closely with his sidekick The Cheat and his muscle-bound older brother Strong Mad to prey on Strong Bad's rotund and constantly depressed younger brother Strong Sad..."

Zakk Wylde Co-Stars In New Jim Breuer Comedy DVD
Rock legend Zakk Wylde and comedian Jim Breuer have teamed up for "Crapshoot", a new rock and roll comedy now available exclusively on DVD. The free-flowing "Crapshoot" combines Zakk's larger-than-life persona with Jim's hilarious improv skills, resulting in a hybrid show mixing reality, sketch comedy, improv, and amazing music.
"Crapshoot" was originally produced as a television pilot, pairing Wylde's intense energy and musical gifts with Breuer's freewheeling comedy and hardcore love for rock. The creators of the show, David Kister and Murray Oden, gathered a stellar supporting cast, featuring Mo Collins ("Mad TV", "Arrested Development", "The 40-Year-Old Virgin").
After the Crapshoot.tv website, featuring a few select clips from the project, received over a million hits in its first two months, it was decided to release the project independently. The result is an unfiltered rock and roll comedy DVD unlike anything on the market.
Zakk Wylde was an unknown teenager when he was discovered by Ozzy Osbourne. Zakk has been Ozzy's lead guitarist ever since, co-writing many of Osbourne's multi-platinum albums, including "No Rest For The Wicked", "No More Tears" and "Ozzmosis". In 1998, Zakk formed his own band, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, which has sold over one million units worldwide.
Jim Breuer established himself on the comedy scene with a four-year stint on "Saturday Night Live", and his movie roles include co-starring with Dave Chappelle in "Half Baked". Jim currently hosts his own radio show, "Jim Breuer Unleashed", which can be heard weekday afternoons on Sirius Satellite Radio's Raw Dog Comedy channel.
"Crapshoot", available exclusively on-line at Crapshoot.tv, is produced by David Kister, Murray Oden, and Chunky B.
