LOA Frontman Working On New Solo Material

LIFE OF AGONY frontman Keith Caputo has launched a brand new web site designed by LIFE OF AGONY bassist, Alan Robert, through his graphics company Vision Den. Vision Den has created web sites, CD/DVD packaging and print collateral for high-profile entertainment clients such as 20th Century Fox, Sony/BMG, Atlantic Records, SPV Records and Universal.

While LIFE OF AGONY is on a temporary break, Keith Caputo is back in the studio working with a group of super-talented musicians on his new solo record in the Netherlands. One of the new songs is titled "Livin' the Blues" and marks his first solo, studio recording with this lineup. More information coming soon.

LIFE OF AGONY have parted ways with Epic Records after issuing only one album through the label.

Released in June 2005, "Broken Valley" is LIFE OF AGONY's first collection of new material since "Soul Searching Sun", which was issued in 1997. "Broken Valley" has sold around 30,000 copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Last Perfection Seeking Drummer

Long Island's Last Perfection are currently looking to replace drummer Chris Goonan, who recently left the band. Here's a statement from the group:

"Our Drummer of five years has just quit the band. We're looking for someone who can take his place. We tour a couple times a year and have two CD's out and a handfull of new material towards our new album. We have a huge van and a trailer, top quality gear, merchandise, distribution, etc. We need someone who can play fast, technical, metal/hardcore drums. Someone who is good at blast-beats, double-bass rolls, and has interesting fills. If this sounds like you then give us a listen here. This is in or around NYC - Long Island."

Listen To The Esoteric's "Your New Burden" Online

A brand new mix of "Your New Burden" is available on the Esoteric MySpace page. The reworking comes courtesy of Ed Rose (Get Up Kids, Coalesce, Motion City Soundtrack) at Black Lodge Recording. The song will be issued to radio stations across the country shortly to continue supporting With The Sureness of Sleepwalking. The song is sharper, richer and a little fancier...and it's all for the new video coming in January to MTV2 and FUSE.

Not Without A Fight Gets Double CD Reissued

Originally released in 1999, the NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT double-CD compilation was one of Crucial Blast's first releases, a crude feast of brutal grindcrust, raw hardcore, and all-out noise warfare packed inside of a 64 page 7"x7" newsprint fanzine-style booklet loaded with rants, essays, poetry, artwork, and band info. It's been out of print for about two years now, but they've re-released it in this second edition of 1,000 copies. The re-issue won't be available in select stores until January, but you can order it now through Crucial Blast.

The limited reissue of NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT is packaged in a DVD style plastic double-disc case that holds both CDs and a 64 page fanzine-style newsprint booklet loaded with band info, art, stories and rants.
