Maceration (Ex-Bloodbath, Etc) Return After 30 Yrs

Danish old-school death metal veterans Maceration return after 30 years of silence and premiere a new song and music video named “Epiphany of the Past”. The song is taken from their upcoming new album "It Never Ends…", which will be out in stores November 25th via Emanzipation Productions.
The outfit is featuring death metal veteran Dan Swano on vocals (formerly Bloodbath, Edge of Sanity, etc.) and members from the legendary Danish death metal bands Invocator and Illdisposed and ex-Myrkur.

Aborted Sign Record Deal With Nuclear Blast

Belgian brutal deathgrind veterans Aborted have inked a record deal with Nuclear Blast. As frontman Sven de Caluwé also mentions below guitarist Dan Konradsson (Ophidian I, Une Misère) replaces Harrison Patuto in the band. Steve Grimmett, frontman of NWOBHM veterans Grim Reaper, has passed away at the age of 62. His brother Mark confirmed his death via social media, offering:
“I don’t really know where to start so I guess I will just come right out with it. It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that I have to tell you all as many of you know him my very talented brother Steve Grimmett very sadly passed away today, my heart goes out to Millie his wife my Mum and Dad, Russell, Sami and Ethan.
