Relapse To Re-Issue Final Bodychoke Album

Originally released in 1997, "Cold River Songs" has been remastered to include three bonus tracks and has been repackaged to include the first-ever printing of the band's incendiary lyrics.
Formed in 1993 by members of SUTCLIFFE JUGEND and WHITEHOUSE, BODYCHOKE released three full-lengths before disbanding in 1999.
Man Must Die Begins Recording New Album
Glasgow, Scotland's MAN MUST DIE has entered the studio to begin recording the follow-up to their Relapse debut, "The Human Condition." This brand new album, "No Tolerance For Imperfection," is being recorded at Grindstone Studios in the UK with producer Scott Atkins.
MAN MUST DIE's Danny McNab commented on the new album: "With 11 songs, full to the brim with anger, heaviness and melodic hooks, MMD cannot wait to unleash this new slab of aural assault and hit the road to promote NTFI. We are really psyched about the new record, its like we are a new band with a new found passion for the extreme, we cannot wait to get on the road again and show what MMD are all about. We really think fans old and new will love 'No Tolerance for Imperfection' - it's pure MMD but with some new twists and turns, and definitely a new level of intensity. Expect No Tolerance for Imperfection to be out around April 2009."
With "No Tolerance For Imperfection," MAN MUST DIE also introduces brand new drummer Matt Holland to the fold. "With Matt as the immense new sticksman behind the blasts at the Man Must Die camp, it ushers in a new era of intensity and rage!" McNab adds; "He has added some serious spice to the new material, and some of his playing if off the scales!"
MAN MUST DIE has also recently been confirmed for the 2009 Maryland Deathfest to be held in May in Baltimore, MD.

Lord Begins Recording New Album, "Set In Stone"
Australian metallers LORD have issued the following update:
"Recording has begun on the follow up to 2007's 'Ascendence' album, entitled 'Set In Stone.'" Commented LORD mainman Lord Tim: "Work has finally started on the next LORD album! This album has a lot to live up to as 'Ascendence' was very well received and we're all still fiercely proud of it, but I think what we've written will easily stand up to the quality of anything we've done before. Of course every artist says their new album will be their best work yet, but in this case rather than saying that, I would describe this as not necessarily better than our last album, but more so this is more true to what LORD is about; the definitive LORD album as it were. If I were to draw comparisons between LORD and DUNGEON [the band that spawned LORD when it disbanded in 2005], 'Ascendence' would be the equivalent of the 'Resurrection' album, and 'Set In Stone' would be the equivalent of 'A Rise To Power' - the album where most people would agree DUNGEON really hit its stride." Lion's Share To Film Video For "Judas Must Die"
Swedish melodic heavy metal masters LION'S SHARE will film a video for the song "Judas Must Die" in Stockholm, Sweden with director Josef Doukkali. LION'S SHARE previously worked with Doukkali on the clip for the track "The Edge Of The Razor," from the "Emotional Coma" album. The band's original decision to work with Doukkali was based in part on the fact that his background was not in music video but in narrative film projects, and that his more cinematic approach would give the video a unique look and feel.
"Judas Must Die" comes off LION'S SHARE 's sixth album, "Dark Hours," which is scheduled for release in March, 2009 via Blistering Records. The CD was mixed and mastered at Fascination Street in Örebro, Sweden by Jens Bogren, who has previously worked with OPETH, SYMPHONY X, PARADISE LOST, AMON AMARTH etc. The new album features a guest appearance by Michael Romeo of SYMPHONY X.
The band states, "The new songs are simply awesome and everybody that have heard it, think it's our best album to date. The red thread lyric wise on this album is that all songs are about things that happened in the late sixties; a decade known for many good things. However, we're not describing the happy times of the 60's: We give you the Dark Hours. Musically it's more straight forward and faster than ever. The songs are filled with energy and great hooks."

The duo of Erik Wunder and Phil McSorley (who is currently deployed in Iraq) has "churned out not only a darker and equally epic and violent outburst, but a more surreal, angrier, emotional and ritualistic observation than its two predecessors (“Eater Of Birds” and their “War Metal” debut respectively). The tracklisting for “Gin” goes as follows:
1. Gin
2. Dry Body
3. Arsonry
4. Throat
5. Stomach

8. Two Thumbed Fist
9. The Old Man Who Lied For His Entire Life
10. A Starved Horror
