"I will try to go straigh to the point in this statement. After thinking about this a lot, I took this tough decision that my time in Dark Moor ends here. In the last few months my head was not with Dark Moor and this situation could have been damaging for the band and for my personal relation with Alfred, Enrik and Roberto in a near future, therefore after some conversations with the guys I have made this decision, which I think is the right thing to do." Fejd Signs To Napalm Records

Swedish folk metal band Fejd has signed to Napalm Records. Since the beginning of the new century, the brothers Patrik and Niklas Rimmerfros have focused their work on the traditional music of their native country of Sweden. It comes as no surprise that Fejd play quaint and original Folk, while skilfully combining traditional and modern instruments. This leads to a lively blend of classic heavy metal and Northern melodies. The songs are crowned by poetic, yet sorrowful lyrics sung entirely in Swedish. The Napalm debut will be released in the spring of 2009.

The band comments:

"No label could be more 'right' for us, as we've reached a new chapter in Fejd's history. Napalm Records has a fine tradition of Folk-inspired acts and the enthusiasm needed to make this into something big and historic. Together Fejd & Napalm Records will take on the world by storm in 2009."

Nancy Grace Links Sevendust Song To Caylee Murder

Nancy Grace has somehow linked the Sevendust song "The Past" to the alleged murder of Caylee Anthony.

On her show recently, Grace hinted Sevendust might be indirectly responsible for murder. She was highlighting the song, "The Past," alleging that Casey Marie Anthony may have used the song as inspiration to allegedly murder her daughter Caylee Anthony in Orlando, Florida when the girl was reported missing on June 16 of this year.

A statement by the band was released and reads: "After hearing the news that our song 'The Past' was a topic of discussion on the Nancy Grace show yesterday, we would like to elaborate. The song was written as a song of hope. A song with positive message. to look back on your life and reflect and to feel good about getting through the rough times that everyone goes through, the roller coaster of life so to speak. We regret that we've been linked to the horrible subject involving the disappearance of little Caylee Anthony. Most of us have children and have been saddened by the story from the beginning. We pray for the safe return of this beautiful young child and wish her family strength."
