Diabolic Comments on New Material

Diabolic recently emerged from The Sonic Ranch in Texas with producer Neil Kernon and immediately entered Morrisound Studios to begin the mastering process on their new album, nfinity Through Purification.

The group wrote the following message in regard to the songwriting process for their new album.

“This is a different Diabolic album. We’ve expanded the Diabolic style to a more definitive and unique plateau, while maintaining some of the predetermined elements from the previous releases. The blasting fury is now reinforced with even more dynamic contrast, the exceptionally perceptive lyrics stir a variety of moods and dark passions, the vocal performance is more inspired and delivered with conviction, the lead guitar work is balanced and more imaginative, and the natural production gives the rhythm section an abundance of heaviness and power! We deliberately contrived a new approach to writing that spawned limitless imagination and unprecedented creativity that will continue into the future!!”

Diabolic will embark on a full US tour this fall alongside Exhumed and Kataklysm with dates to be announced soon. Infinity Through Purification is out in October through Century Media.

Aeternus Update

Aeternus vocalist/bassist Ares has posted the following band update:

"Greetingz to ya' all! Well, I don't have any breaking news for you all, but I decided to let you know about our plans when it comes to gigs and so forth as many write me about that.

We don't have any concrete plans, but we have been in contact with some people and as far as now I haven't heard anything about the fact that it won't happen. We have plans to play in Sandnes/Norway around August/September. So far I have an appointment to contact my contact next month and I am pretty sure this will take place. We have plans do something in London at the Underworld around December. My contacts there said it would be quite possible to get things settled on that one...

NAP, our Label has told me that there has been an offer from Metalysee where a 14 day tour could take place in November. This is uncertain now, but the idea is there still and further info. on this will come. I've been in contact with people in Italy and Scotland as well, but this is uncertain right now too as I am waiting for their replay and so forth...” More...
