Dark Suns Announce 'Existence' As Album Title

DARK SUNS have announced the title for their upcoming, second full length; “EXISTENCE” will see the light of day in March 2004 through Voice Of Life Records. The album will be a concept work containing about 70 minutes of "beautiful and dark Metal."

'Get Thrashed' Documentary In The Works

‘Get Thrashed’ is the title of an upcoming documentary, which aims to chronicle the rise and importance of the 1980s thrash metal scene. So far there are no details on when, or how, this is to be released, but it should include all the major names from the era. It’s being produced by Rick Ernst, who has done a lot of work for MTV.

Fear Factory To Sign New Record Deal

According to internet reports, Fear Factory are on the verge of signing a new record deal. This is believed to be with D3 Entertainment in Los Angeles.The band hope to release their new, as yet untitled album early next year.

Sacrificial Slaughter Dropped From Funeral Harvest

Due to an "unstable condition" within Sacrificial Slaughter, the band will be dropped from the label this month. The band will attempt to continue, but without Funeral HArvest Records as a label.

John O Fathaigh Leaves Cruachan AGAIN

Keith Fay on behalf of Cruachan posted the following to the band's website:

"Yes John has parted ways with us yet again and we wholeheartedly apologise to each and everyone of our fans for this ridiculous situation. His reasons for leaving are again "personal" and we are very unhappy that he wasted our time by coming back in the first place. We will find a replacement and we will continue to tour with a guest musician. What does not kill us only makes us stronger!"

Deftones Hexagram Video Location Revealed

The video location has been released for the DEFTONES video shoot for "Hexagram". The Deftones will be filming the video for "Hexagram" on Friday August 8th in Los Angeles, CA. The band is looking for all local Deftones Fans to come down and be in the video

Here's where to show up:

4226 Valley Fair Street (The Skatelab Warehouse)
Simi Valley, CA 93063

"[If you'd like to be in ther video], show up between 2-4pm. The video will be filmed around 5pm-7pm. We need as many fans as possible to represent the Deftones(500-1000). There will be no stage. Just the band and their fans. Bring ear plugs if you think you might be sensitive to the loudest sound system ever.
Important: Do not wear name brand shirts. NO HURLEY, BILLABONG, VOLCOM, VANS, PUMA, ADIDAS, ETC. We are all sick of blurred out images in videos."
