Pale Divine Ink Deal With Arctic Music Group

Doom metallers Pale Divine have inked a deal with Arctic Music Group. Their new studio album is titled "Eternity Revealed" and is scheduled for an early 2004 release. The recordings will start this fall with Chris Kozlowski producing. Here's what the band had to say: "We're really looking forward to working with Martyr Music. It's great to be with a label that's as excited about our music as we are! We appreciate the enthusiasm that Maria has expressed with regard to working with us and we trust that our relationship with her is going to benefit a great deal from that. Likewise, it's exciting for us to be with a label that is young and still growing." Artistically speaking, Darin explains the direction the band has taken with their song writing... "There's an epic quality to new songs like "Sins of the Fallen" and "Martyrdom" much the same way that "Morphia/Crimson Tears" has that epic feel. Although there is no concept behind the new record there is somewhat of a religious theme behind it."

Behemoth to Release new EP

Behemoth will be releasing a new EP called Conjuration on September 14th. In Poland it will be out through their long time partners Mystic Productions, while in Europe this will be the first release on Regain Records from Sweden. Behemoth has just signed a two album deal with Regain and guitarist/vocalist Nergal says that “Conjuration will be a little warm up before we hit with another record next year. Shortly after European release this mini album will be out through Century Media in US.

Conjuration is a strictly limited EP including unreleased studio and live material. The European edition is limited to amount of 5000 CDs, 500 picture discs and 500 regular vinyl LPs. The American version (limit to 2000) will have a different cover and slightly different track list.

We want to keep Conjuration as a real collector item. No money making here really. That's why we limit both editions, present only unreleased and premier material, and sell it on very low prices. It's a fan thing, for all those who wait for our next studio album which come out not earlier then autumn 2004." More...
