2004's 2000 Decibel Scheduled
The date has been set for next years 2000 Decibel-festival, which will be the fifth edition of the festival. Something we will celebrate with, for the first time, a two days festival. The festival will take place in Bengtsfors the 21 st and 22 nd May 2004.
What makes 2000 Decibel special is the fact that it is the only festival that is totally dedicated to Swedish Hard Rock and Metal. If you visit the festival you will get the chance to see some of the best bands that Sweden has to offer.
Martyr AD Live
Martyr AD is now "back," as they have finally found a permanent drummer and singer. Earlier this summer we told you that Karl Hensel, drummer for now-defunct Minneapolis hardcore band Holding On, had joined the Martyr AD roster. Now, in addition to Hensel, Holding On vocalist Andrew Hart, who had been helping Martyr AD out on vocals as of late, has officially joined the group on vocals. According to the band, the lineup is now "solid as a fucking rock." Late this fall, the group will enter the studio to record their Victory Records debut, which has been entitled "On Earth As It Is In Hell" and should hit stores in spring of 2004. The group has plans to tour extensively in support of the record.
