The band Grone sends word that their full CDs is online for download. In fact, several of their full- and EP-length CDs are online for download, along with cover and traycarads for printing. Visit their site at http://www.gomek.com/ for these downloads. They're definitely worth a listen.
Newsted Sued Over Echobrain Name
Jason Newsted is being sued by Dallas band Echo Drain, who claim that Echobrain, one of the former Metallica bassist’s current projects, have a name far too close to theirs, and that this causing confusion to the detriment of Echo Drain. Bah! If anything, I bet that Echo Drain will get more sales as a result...

All That Remains Replace Guitarist
Massachusetts up and coming metal powerhouse All That Remains have recruited guitarist Mike Martin to replace the departed Chris Bartlett. Martin's resume includes guitar duties on tour for hardcore titans Unearth and his own project Flatlined. The band with Martin in tow has confirmed several northeast dates and expects to hit the road in August for a full US tour. The band's debut release Behind Silence and Solitude hit the shelves in late March and last week in Europe on Lifeforce Records to worldwide praise.
