Kult Ov Azazel are working on their new studio album. The album will be the debut for the band with their new drummer Goss "The Hammer". The working title of the album is "Oculus Infernum".

Meads of Asphodel Working on Sophomore Effort

The Meads Of Asphodel are currently working on their second studio album. The album, titled Exhuming The Grave Of Yeshua has Mirai from Sigh, Vincent Crowley from Acheron, plus others doing guest appearances. The album is scheduled for an early 2003 release.

Bridge Nine Showcase

Bridge Nine Records will be holding a festival/label showcase next month. Details are still sketchy at this point, but the even will be taking place on July 20th and 21st at The Hideaway in Cambridge, MA. The event will feature over twelve bands, including: American Nightmare, Breathe In, Sworn In, Striking Distance, The Hope Conspiracy, No Warning, and Champion. Look for more information soon.

Silence the Epilogue Signed

Arkansas hardcore band Silence the Epilogue recently signed with Action vs Reaction Records and will be recording a new full-length this Summer. The band will be entering Poynter Studios in Little Rock, Arkansas with producer Barry Poynter (ZAO, Living Sacrifice) at the end of August. Additionally, Sean Ingram of Coalesce is currently working on the artwork for the effort, which is entitled Silhouette of Virtue. Look for the band on tour in the Midwest this September.

Roddy Drum Video Available

Roddy's first video is now completed with running time of aprox. 45 minutes.

The first video contains excercises that will help you gain strength, endurance and speed. There is a daily half an hour workout for your hands and feet. There are also 4 exercises for cleaning your double bass and blast beats. Each video will contain a worksheet with each exercise written out and suggested tempo for each. There will be also few solos for you to check out.

You can order it whether as VHS or Video CD (VCD). Price is 30$ for within the States and 35 for the rest of the World. If interested send a money order or cashier's check only- do not send cash.

Flynn Takes Verbal Stab At Slayer's King

Machine Head frontman Robert Flynn has slammed Slayer guitarist Kerry King over the latter's incessant public criticisms of Machine Head's recent recorded output during various interviews conducted by King over the last several months. In the latest diary entry posted at the group's official web site (www.machinehead1.com), Flynn makes it clear that whatever friendship may have existed between him and the portly Slayer axeman during Machine Head's earliest days has been replaced by a gamut of emotions, ranging from mild amusement to not-so-thinly-veiled resentment.
