Disillusion

Disillusion, winners of the "Support The Underground" band contest held by Germany's LEGACY magazine finished the recordings for their new MCD, which was the prize for winning this nationwide competition. The record will be released in August 2002 and is entitled THE PORTER . With its two songs "THE PORTER" and "ETERNAL DUALITY" that were part of the live setlist in the latest past, DISILLUSION shorten the wait of their fans for the complete album which is planned for early 2003. Both songs will be released on THE PORTER exclusively. Continuing to walk the paths laid by the highly celebrated THREE NEURON KINGS EP (2001) , the two new songs show yet more focus and the tremendous progress DISILLUSION have made in only a few months.

Machine Head Continue As Three-Piece

Similar to Metallica's recent predicament, but without that band's clout, Machine Head aim to record their next album as a three-piece, with no intention of finding a permanent replacement for recently departed guitarist Ahrue Luster. However, the band will be using Phil Demmel as an extra guitarist on their upcoming European tour.

There once was a day when Metallica would not even consider doing commericals and soundtracks. Now, after doing both of those, aswell as collaborating with rapper Ja Rule, Metallica’s James Hetfield guests on a remix of the song ‘So Complicated’ by country star Caroline Dawn Johnson. The new version is simply called ‘Complicated’. The only other thing that would surprise me now is if they actually played some goddamn METAL!
