Eternal Grey Finish Debut
Eternal Grey have finished the recordings of their debut album, titled Kindles. This album was recorded by master Tommy Tagtgren, in Abyss studios Sweden, with the help of metal legends Peter Tagtgren (Hypocrisy) & Schmier (Destruction).
Aborted To Record in November
Belgian death/gore mettalers Aborted will record in november their new full-length CD entitled The Saw And The Carnage Done. The album will be out in february 2003 through Listenable Records and will contain 8-9 songs. Last month band also recorded their live concert in France with Immortal and Hypocrisy. The three live songs will be on new split vinyl with Exhumed.
COB Push Back Single
Finland's Children of Bodom, featuring Alexi Laiho on guitar/vocals, have pushed back the release date of their upcoming single, "You're Better Off Dead", to July 15th through Spinefarm Records. Also included on the CD will be the group's cover of The Ramones classic "Somebody Put Something In My Drink".
COB are tentatively scheduled to issue their next full-length album in Finland in November, with the rest of the world due to receive the CD in early 2003.
Centinex Issues Vinyl
Centinex will issue a vinyl version of their Diabolical Desolation album through Finland's Northern Sound Records in July/August. This special release will be limited to 1000 gatefold LPs, featuring new layout and artwork.
Davis and Mowery enlist Wade Black for project
Former Nocturnus guitarist Mike Davis and bassist/vocalist Emo Mowery have enlisted Seven Witchesex-Crimson Glory singer Wade Black for their as-yet-unnamed new project, according to an update issued by Season Of Mist Records. The new group will reportedly be "much more aggressive and versatile" than Nocturnus, according to Mowery.
Theatre of Tragedy EP Delayed
Theatre of Tragedy's upcoming, Norway-only EP, Let You Down, has had its release date pushed back to the fall. No reason was given for the delay.
As previously reported, Let You Down will contain the album version of the title cut, a previously unreleased cover of the Supremes/Kim Wilde classic "You Keep Me Hangin' On" and special remixes of "Let You Down", "Universal Race", and "Envision".
