Mayorga Remains With Medication
I thought it was a little presumptuous to think Roy Mayorga had left Medication after he instisted that he had not. Although he’s officially back with Soulfly, apparently this is only temporary for the band’s third album, which is currently being produced by Max Cavalera. Mayorga, though, remains a full time member of Medication, reports TotalRock.

Martyr Ad Borrow Drummer
Minnesota's Martyr Ad have reportedly picked up Every Time I Die drummer Ratboy to participate in the band's current tour with The Haunted, Witchery and Catastrophic after their 'new' drummer refused to return the band's phone calls.
Ratboy was enlisted for the tour only and still remains a part of Every Time I Die. Martyr Ad will pick up in Detroit on December 3.

California's The End Records have picked up an exclusive distribution deal with The Telegraph Company through Innovative Distribution Network (a division of Alliance Entertainment).

Godhead Join 'Preaching To The Perverted'
GODHEAD played their first show with new drummer Tom Z (formerly of the band BILE) on October 27th at the Fetish Ball in Hollywood, California. Tom Z will be joining the band for the North American Preaching to the Perverted tour with PIGFACE and GRAVITY KILLS in mid-November all through to the end of December.
Dio Update
According to Britain’s Classic Rock Magazine the next DIO record is due in February 2002 and it will be a "faster" record than Magica, drawing on elements of the classic Holy Diver album.
Black Label Society Release Date
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY’s brand new CD, entitled Deathcore War Machine Eternal, is tentatively scheduled for a February 19th release through Spitfire Records.

36 Crazyfists Set For Debut
36 CRAZYFISTS’ debut CD for Roadrunner Records, entitled Our Bitterness The Star, is still on target for a January 29th release. The group will be flying to New York in the near future to wrap up the mixing and mastering for the effort, which was produced by Scrap 60 Productions (i.e. DRY KILL LOGIC, ILL NINO). Zombie Lands Movie Deal
Rob Zombie has finally landed a new distribution deal for his much delayed movie ‘House Of 1000 Corpses’, which should mean an imminent release for the horror film.
Organge Goblin Coup
British band Orange Goblin will release new album ‘Coup De Grace’ in February. It was produced by Kyuss veteran Scott Reeder and includes a guest appearance from Kyuss/Unida vocalist John Garcia.
