VOD In Disorder
Although there's no official word of a break-up, Vision Of Disorder are rumoured to be in a state of disarray and possibly on the verge of splitting up. Frontman Tim Williams is currently putting together a new hardcore side project, which could turn into a full-time commitment.
Metal In The Charts
Rob Zombie’s sophomore solo album, The Sinister Urge, moved over 149,000 copies during its first week of release, landing the album at the #8 slot on next week’s Billboard Pop Album Chart. Sevendust moved over 61,000 copies of their third album, Animosity, during its first week of release for a #28 debut, while Kittie sold 32,000 copies of their second CD, Oracle, to land at #57.
Broken Hope (Un)Martyred
Martyr music group has opted to not exercise their option for additional Broken Hope material and has let the band go. Grotesque Blessings will remain part of the growing
Martyr Music Group catalog.
Penance Delayed
Due to manufacturing problems, the new Penance album "alpha & omega" will be released on Dec 4th, instead of nov 6th. The band will be appearing live at the xmas ball 2001 show in pittsburgh on dec 11th. Go to www.penancemusic.com for more info.

Anthrax has decided to temporarily move its web site to http://www.anthraxtheband.com, as a result of receiving more traffic than they can handle at Anthrax.com.
