Drowning Pool Skips 'Tear Away'

The new Jet Li movie "The One" features the new Drowning Pool single, "Sinner," yet the track wasn't the band's first choice to follow up "Bodies." Drowning Pool decided to release "Sinner" after their label declared "Tear Away" to be too divisive for these sensitive times.

Necrophagia Gets Censored

Cannibal Holocaust and Through the Eyes of the Dead are banished from the German market. Their official distributor will not release these titles, as he fears problems with officials. Necrophagia's video clip Cannibal Holocaust contains film footage of the likewise named movie, which is -in Germany- only allowed as a cut version for over 18 year olds. The releases will now be available through mail orders and import.

Angel Dust Finish Human Bondage

The new album of Angel Dust is finished. "Of Human Bondage" was produced by Siggi Bemm at Woodhouse Studio. It is said that the album will be slightly heavier than their previous one.

Anyone Release 'Don't Wake Me'

Medication Tour US

Medication plan to embark on a 3 month U.S. tour early next year to support their forthcoming debut EP, due out through Warner Bros. in February. The band then plan to continue touring throughout the summer and hope to release their full length debut for Warner in June/July. At present, the group are embarking on a U.K. trek and will follow it up by hitting the studio to begin recording their new album in early January.

Beseech Work On Third

Swedish “gothic metal” act BESEECH will begin recording their as-yet-untitled third album on December 7th at Studio Mega, where the group had recorded their previous CDs. Among the working song titles that are set to appear on the upcoming CD are "Sunset 28", "Endless Waters", "Fiction City", and "Force Sun". BESEECH are no longer signed to Pavement Music and are currently seeking a brand new record deal.
