Centinex Lose Guitarist

Shortly after the recording of Centinex's new album, Diabolical Desolation, it appears that guitarist Kenneth Wiklund has quit the band.

Here is the rest:

Wiklund joined Centinex in 1994, but apparently the six-stringer's departure has been in the works for a long time. Bassist Martin Schulman has already come forward on the matter and said Wiklund leaving won't affect the release of Diabolical Desolation and future plans of the band. In fact, Centinex have already found a session guitarist to perform on upcoming tours. Schulman confirmed, however, Centinex will remain a quartet until further notice.

In similar news, Centinex is gearing up for the release of Diabolical Desolation. The track listing for the album is: "Demonic Warlust", "Forthcoming Terror", "Spawned To Destroy", "Soulcrusher", "Diabolical Desolation", "On Violent Soil", "Total Misanthropia", "The Bloodline", "A War Symphony" and "Hellfire Twilight."

Look for Centinex's sixth full-length album sometime in January 2002 on Candlelight Records.
