Nightfall Signs With Season Of Mist

Season of Mist are pleased to announce the signing of Greek metal masters Nightfall. The band will release their brand new album early 2021.

Vocalist Efthimis comments on the signing:
"We are excited to join forces with Season of Mist! Musically we were raised in the 80s when labels took good care of their artists. From what we know Season of Mist is working that way, which is amazing."

Season of Mist will release the original Nightfall albums that were produced by Holy records back in the 90s. "We are gonna play these live, including stuff never played live before."

And then there is the new album. A cry out about depression: "…a beast I have experienced its teeth deep into my soul, I decided to come out and share that experience with metalheads. This is the least I can offer now to the big fight against depression. If we don’t stop this, it will eat us all alive."

Nightfall want their new album to carry a strong message. "Share your pain, speak openly about it. This is the only way to kill the demons in your mind.” Like the old days where music albums were addressing big issues, beyond mere fun and amusement, Nightfall devote their new album to the fight against depression. “We are sure Season of Mist team is the most appropriate in assisting us to deliver this message right. We feel confident and this is awesome."

Onslaught Posts New Music Video Online

British thrash metal favourites Onslaught has posted a new music video online for the song, "Bow Down To The Clowns." You can check it out below. The song comes from the band's forthcoming seventh album, "Generation Antichrist," which will be released through AFM Records on August 7th and marks the band's first release since the 2013 album, "VI." The record also marks the debut of new vocalist Dave Garnett, who replaced longtime frontman Sy Keeler earlier this year.

Sacrifice Postpones All 2020 Shows

Legendary Canadian thrash metal quartet, Sacrifice, is disappointed to announce that all previously planned live performances in 2020 have been postponed until further notice.

The band was scheduled to play festival shows this year in both Vancouver, BC and Hamburg, Germany, in addition to a South American tour originally planned for this month. All shows have been put on hold until at least 2021, with the rescheduled Vancouver show already confirmed and announced:

Modified Ghost Festival 2021
Sacrifice with Razor, Exciter and guests
Saturday, May 29, 2021 at The Rickshaw Theatre, Vancouver BC

"It's been a while since Sacrifice has played live," says guitarist/vocalist Rob Urbinati. "It’s very disappointing to have to postpone our shows for this year. The main thing is keeping everyone safe. Hopefully when our next show happens there will be some new music from us as well. Stay home, stay safe."

The band is currently in the demo stages for new material. More details on upcoming recordings will be released in the months to come.

Thurisaz Premiere New Song & Lyric Video

Belgian band Thurisaz premiere a new song and yric video entitled "The Veil", taken from their upcoming new album "Re-Incentive", which will be out in stores September 1st. The effort was recorded and engineered at CCR Studio by Kris Belean, Mettez Nick, and Theuwen Peter, and mastered at Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren.
