The Agony Scene Guitarist Leaves, Drop Off Tours
Here's an update from vocalist Michael Williams regarding the latest happenings of THE AGONY SCENE:
"THE AGONY SCENE will be taking a break for the rest of 2003 and regrets that they will not be able to participate in the MUSHROOMHEAD and INTEGRITY tours. With the announcement of guitarist Chris Emmons leaving the group, the band will be announcing a new replacement in the near future and will be on the road in early 2004. This has been a great year for THE AGONY SCENE and we appreciate everyone's intrest and support. We respect Chris' decision to move on and wish him the best. THE AGONY SCENE will be back - we're writing some great new material and look forward to hitting the road again."
Depswa Lose Guitarist, Seek Replacement
James Mills, has now officially left DEPSWA. The band is currently looking for a replacement and they are still currently looking for a new label after they split with Geffen a few months ago.
Interested parties should have a solid background in touring, recording, and live performance. In addition they must have possess a highly energetic stage presence and be a team player. Good stage image is also a plus.

Zinny Zan Is Back With Zan Clan
After almost 10 years of silence, glamrocker Zinny Zan are back with his new band Zan Clan. Yesterday (Saturday 5:th December) Zan Clan, played live at Hard Rock Café Stockholm, Sweden, a set of 10 songs with 2 extra numbers performed live and also broadcasted live on the local radio station, Rockklassiker. Hard Rock Café was crowded with music colleaguses, heavy and glam-rockers.
Ramesses Release Details And Gigs
Ramesses recorded a few tracks in late August at London's Fortress Studios. Two of these tracks -'RAMESSES II' and 'MASTER (YOUR DEMONS)' - will be featured on a split CD with NY band Negative Reaction, which is released this month on the up-and-coming Austrian label Psychedoomelic Records. Their first 7 inch will be out in January 2004 on the same label. Also scheduled for early 2004 release on Psychedoomelic, RAMESSES will have an exclusive track - 'BLACK DOMINA' -on the compilation 'Dreams of What Life Could Have
Been', alongside exclusive tracks from Fistula (OHIO), Negative Reaction (Long Island), Grief (Boston), Moss (UK), Soulpreacher (NC). There are a few more releases in the pipeline for early 2004 - details provided when confirmed.
RAMESSES are gearing up for a couple of live dates in the UK in December. They will be playing alongside Art of Burning Water, Taint, Like a Kind of Matador, Old Basford and Capricorns. There are two confirmed dates:
Sunday 21st December - Nottingham / Old Angel (doors 7pm / tickets £5)
Monday 22nd December - London / Underworld (doors 6pm / tickets £6)
