Marilyn Manson Faces Swiss Criminal Probe
U.S. shock rocker Marilyn Manson is the target of a criminal inquiry in Switzerland, after a religious group made a formal complaint about his stage act.
Zurich District Prosecutor Michael Scherrer told The Associated Press on Tuesday that the artist was under investigation for allegedly breaching Swiss law protecting religion as well as making incitements to violence during a concert in the city in February 2001.
Scherrer said he interviewed Manson ahead of another sellout concert Sunday at a Zurich stadium, part of the artist's ongoing European tour. Christian groups and lawmakers in Zurich had tried unsuccessfully to have the latest concert banned on grounds that Manson's views were offensive to a majority of the population.
The rocker rejected the accusations, Scherrer said. Manson cited artistic freedom and said his act was meant to provoke a debate about violence and religion, the official added.

100 Demons Recording
Deathwish Inc.'s newest metalcore family members, 100 DEMONS, are currently held up in Z Studios with producer Zeuss (HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL) recording their next full length, tentative due out in February 2004.
Connecticut has always been a breeding ground for heavy and menacing music. And after five years of progression, 100 DEMONS have risen to the forefront of the influential Connecticut hardcore community. Encapsulating a pure viciousness and ravenous intensity that few ever could achieve, the 100 DEMONS approach is utterly monstrous: equal parts hardcore intensity and gut wrenching metallic precision. 100 DEMONS are sicker, meaner, and outright harder than any of their contemporaries.
Sharon Osbourne: I Cheated on Ozzy
In a tell-all book 'Ordinary People: Our Story' written by Ozzy Osbourne and family, Sharon Osbourne talks frankly about the couple’s bizarre three-way relationship with Ozzy’s guitarist Randy Rhoads, which ended with his death in an air crash in 1982. "There was one time I was with Randy," Sharon revealed. "Ozzy knows about it but has never wanted to discuss it. That’s his way of dealing with it. But don’t read any dissatisfaction into it. Ozzy knows the one-time occurrence was loving, not lustful. And he was just as in love with Randy as I was. He still cries when talking about Randy. So do I."
