Underoath on Fuse TV
Underoath have been announced as guests on Fuse TV's Daily Download program. On November 22nd the show will air on Fuse from 6 to 7p EST (with a repeat presentation at 10 to 11p EST). Thy Majestie Announce New Singer
Italian Power/Epic matellers THY MAJESTIE have announced the addition of singer Giulio Di Gregorio (IRENCROS) to the group's ranks.
THY MAJESTIE's previous vocalist, Gabriele Grilli (ex-FURY 'N GRACE/DOOMSWORD), left the group during the recording sessions for their follow-up to 2002's "Hastings 1066", tentatively due in early 2005 via Scarlet Records.
THY MAJESTIE's forthcoming CD, provisionally titled "Jean D'Arc", will contain the following track listing: More...
Norther To Record New EP In December
Finland's NORTHER will enter Astia Studios in Lappeenranta, Finland in December to record a new, as-yet-untitled EP. The CD will include five songs.
NORTHER's sophomore full-length album, "Mirror or Madness", was released in 2003 through Spinefarm Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Dreams of Endless War" effort was recorded at Astia with producer Anssi Kippo.
As previously reported, NORTHER's Petri Lindroos has been named a permanent member of the Finnish folk-influenced melodic death metal band ENSIFERUM. Lindroos will handle the vocals and guitar in the group, who parted ways with singer/guitarist Jari Mäenpää earlier in the year.
Atrocity, Leaves' Eyes Update From The Road
Atrocity and Leaves' Eyes, fronted by the spouces Alex Krull and Liv Kristine, are currently in the middle of their European tour with Darkwell and Battlelore. They have issued the following update:
One week ago, Atrocity and Leaves' Eyes started up to continue with the Atlantis Lovelorn Tour and are overwhelmed by the great response of their fans. There is a very special tourreport with lots of exclusive photos from the first part of the tour updated here [ at the Gallery and Tourreprt sections of the band's site]. There are also new live pics from the concert in Bad Salzungen, 15.10.04 in the gallery.
During the last week Atrocity and Leaves' Eyes already played in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland and they are now looking forward to meet their fans in Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal and France, where they will tour in the next two weeks. Unfortunately, the gig of Atrocity and Leaves? Eyes in Moscow, 04.12., is postponed to an uncertain date. More news will follow.
Imperia To Perform At Gothic Fair In Netherlands
IMPERIA, the new band fronted by former TRAIL OF TEARS singer Helena Iren Michaelsen, will play two shows at Archeon Midwinter Fair 2004, which takes place in the Archeon Themapark (Alphen aan den Rijn, NL) on December 18th and 19th. It is a Fantasy and Gothic Fair with a lot of acts, performances, lectures, presentations, workshops, exhibitions and a Gothic & Fantasy market. The musical performances will take place in the Middeleeuwse Klooster.
Imperia has also been confirmed for EuroSonic Festival 2005 (part of Noorderslag - weekend) in Groningen, Netherlands. The festival takes place on January 14th, 2005. There are more than 110 bands on 20 different stages participating.
Neara To Record New Album, Announce Tour Dates
Münster, Germany-based metalcore act Neaera have entered Stage One Studios in Bühne, Germany with producer Andy Classen to begin recording their debut album, "The Rising Tide Of Oblivion," tentatively due in early 2005 through Metal Blade Records. "Two of us have already hit the studio and started recording 'The Rising Tide of Oblivion'," singer Benny said in a statement. "As you can imagine, we are really curious about the result, the rest of us can't wait to enter the studio as well to contribute to the record."

Dark Tranquillity Album Tracklisting Revealed
Sweden's Dark Tranquillity have revealed the track listing and artwork for their new album, "Character", due in Europe on January 24 and North America on January 25 via Century Media Records. The band recently released an EP, entitled "Lost to Apathy," as a teaser for the upcoming full-length. It includes four songs, a video-clip (for the title track) and a screensaver.
Pure Sweet Hell Sign To Crash Music
Crash Music, Inc. announced that they have signed metal act Pure Sweet Hell to a four-album deal.
Pure Sweet Hell consists of Van Williams , who is also the drummer in Century Media recording artists, Nevermore, Christ Eichhorn, who has spent much of his time writing music and doing studio and live work with a number of bands, and Jim "Ravenfeeder" Colson who has been in bands with Christ and Van in the past, now joins the duo as a member of Pure Sweet Hell.
Pure Sweet Hell's music can be described as a combination of thrash, black, and death metal which makes for a crushing sound. Crash Music¹s Mark Nawara comments, "We are very excited to be working with Van and Christ on their project Pure Sweet Hell. We look forward to helping develop the band into being a major success in the metal genre."
Crash Music will release their debut full length album "The Voyeurs Of Utter Destruction As Beauty" on February 22, 2004.
Crash Music is distributed in the U.S. by Caroline Distribution and has offices in France that handle the European territories through Crash Music Europe.
Cathedral To Play Three Final 2004 Shows
Following on from the success of their controversial UK tour with HIM, Cathedral are to play three final shows to round off 2004. Firstly Bradford Rios on Dec. 10th, followed by a visit to London, The Garage on Dec 11th. Support for both these shows will be from very special guests, Witchcraft from Sweden. Finally the band will play a final 2004 show as special guests to Paradise Lost on their only UK appearance at Wolverhampton, Wulfrun Hall Dec 16th. The band are currently in negotiations with various producers and plan to enter the studio in February 2005 to commence recording of their eighth album & debut for Nuclear Blast records, tentatively titled "Seeds of Decay."

Hatesphere Sign To SPV
Danish metalheads Hatesphere have signed to SPV. They plan to release a CD titled 'The Killing EP' at the end of January. This was produced by Tommy Hansen. This includes the Suicidal Tendencies cover 'Trip At The Brain'.
Harakiri Working On New Material
Indiana's Harakiri are currently writing material for their next album. According to the group, "We have some [songs] complete and others in various stages. We are taking our time." The band has specific plans for recording at the moment, nor are they sure if the release will be a full-length or an EP.
Into The Moat Finish Recording New Album
Into The Moat have now finished recording and mixing their new album, which they've titled "The Design." The record is currently being mastered at West West Side studios and the group expects to post an MP3 within the next week. Look for the album to hit stores in March 2005 through Metal Blade Records.
