Circle II Circle Revamp Linup But Continue
Posts on the CIRCLE II CIRCLE forum strongly suggest ZAK STEVENS bandmates - John Zahner, Christopher Kinder, Matt La Porte, Kevin Rothney and Shane Frenchjave - have parted ways with the singer. No official word had gone out at this point refuting or supporting the "news." The band has cancelled their only November date, a gig at Gasoline Alley in Florida. Dates for December are still posted.
The band site has this to say, however:
"Due to some recent changes in the CircleIICircle camp we would like to assure everyone of our fans and business partners that Zak Stevens / CircleIICircle will be touring
with Saxon and Doro in December for this years "best tour package" for 2003!
These shows will be extremely exciting to see and Zak / CircleIICircle have some great suprises for all the European fans! "CircleIICircle will now take it to another level."
Also,... CircleIICircle will start recording it's 2nd record at Morrisound Studios in mid Jan 2004 for a early April release.
Jon Oliva and Chris Caffery will be co writing with Zak once again ... and a very special guitarist will be debuted on this CD.
Zak is currently looking at a HUGE spring touring schedule for next year,.. including many great summer festivals, leading up to a fantastic fall schedule currently in the
works.
CircleIICircle is stronger than ever and ready to bring great music and great performances to all the fans everywhere.
We wish everyone great success! And we'll see ya soon!"
Pig Destroyer Is Back
January 27th, 2004 will be the day PIG DESTROYER returns to Robotic Empire with a "Splits" Collection CD comprised of the band's material from the split CDs with BENUMB and GNOB. This hard to find material has been completely remastered by PxDx's own Scott Hull (Nile, Dying Fetus, Voivod) at Visceral Sound, along with all new artwork by the skilled hands of Chris Taylor (pg.99, Crestfallen, Darkest Hour).
The disc will be released in Japan through Howling Bull just prior to Pig Destroyer's Japanese tour with Napalm Death, A.C. and Nasum. An early-mastered preview MP3 from this CD can be found at the band's MP3.com site.
