Vamps Collaborates With Apocalyptica

While touring together in the U.S. earlier this year, Vamps and Apocalyptica discussed the idea of doing more together. In addition to the six U.K. shows later this month, the musicians have joined forces for a fresh piece of music: the single "Sin in Justice."

For Vamps, this is the first time the band has collaborated with classically trained players. "The creative process was pretty hectic," reflects Hyde of Vamps. "I worked on the song during our South American tour, writing the lyrics and running through the vocal lines, and the Apocalyptica camp spent time with the music between their various other commitments. Actually, it all started pretty organically, out of a growing friendship; we listened to each other's demos, exchanged ideas, and things just grew from there. I think what we've ended up with is very fresh and certainly new for us. If our respective schedules allow, I'd love to work with Apocalyptica again..."

"Yes, we had a great time being on the road together," continues Apocalyptica's Eicca Toppinen. "We loved the idea and the experience of working together in this way. We're really proud of the song, and we hope fans of both bands will enjoy it." More...

Secrets Of The Moon Plunges Into A "Hole"

German black metal band Secrets Of The Moon will release new studio album, "Sun," on December 4, 2015 via Prophecy Productions.

Recorded at The Source Studios in Munich and Soundcave Studios in Hamburg, the album is the sixth full-length recording of the band's career and the follow-up to 2012 release, "Seven Bells."

In advance of the new album's release, the new song "Hole" is now online and can be heard below. Secrets Of The Moon comments: “‘Hole’ describes the desolate story of humanity. A story that is more present than ever before with the tragic attacks in Paris that have left me speechless and resigned. There is no hope. There is no god. Whatever we do, whatever we create, whatever we love, is temporary. It is a gift. The feel of the song ‘Hole’ is the opposite of ‘going on’, and the music portrays that. At least that’s what I’m feeling right now.” More...
