Emberthrone (Ex-Fallujah, Etc.) Premiere New Track

Emberthrone have officially dropped their latest single, “Dulling The Blade,” today, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below. The band features a stacked lineup with vocalist Monte Barnard (formerly a touring member with Fallujah), guitarist Martin Bianchini (known for his session work with Dance Gavin Dance), and bassist Quentin Garcia (Man On the Moon). Drummer Andrew Baird (All Shall Perish, ex-Fallujah) is the newest addition to the group, stepping in for Gabe Seeber (Obscura, Decrepit Birth, Vale Of Pnath, etc.).

The band’s upcoming EP, “Cursive,” will be out July 04th via Seek And Strike.

Johari Premiere New Track & Music Video "Daedalus"

Technical death metal project Johari - led by guitarist Gabriel Castro and keyboardist and vocalist Connor Hill - premiere a new single and music video by the name of “Daedalus”. The duo tapped main vocalist Mac Smith (Hammer Of Dawn, Decrepit Birth), frontwoman Chaney Crabb (Entheos), Michael Lessard (Last Chance To Reason, The Contortionist), Jonathan Carpenter (ex-The Contortionist, Foreign Waves) along with guitarist Dean Lamb (Archspire) and drummer Evan Sammons (Last Chance To Reason) for that collab.

"Daedalus" was mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren (Machine Head, Entheos, GWAR) and features artwork created by Julius Horsthuis (Meshuggah).

Cancer And Wolfchant Confirmed For 70000 Tons 2023

The announcements for the 2023 edition of 70000 Tons Of Metal are coming thick and fast with the organisers of the cruise confirming two more names for the voyage today. British death metal legends Cancer will be boarding the ship, as will German Viking metal band Wolfchant. Speaking on the announcement, Cancer said:

"We are beyond stoked to announce that we will be spreading this fatal disease called death fucking metal at the one and only 70000tons, the world's biggest heavy metal cruise in just a few weeks!

"We've definitely never played in a setting like this one, so you can imagine the four of us are quite excited about it! A good bunch of friends and bands that we love have been already announced and we'll all make a total of 60 artists playing two sets each when the whole line-up gets revealed!

Vektor Pulled From 70000 Tons Of Metal

Last night, the organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Of Metal cruise announced that Sci-Fi thrashers Vektor would be performing in the 2023 edition of the event. In the past hour, the 70000 Tons social pages have confirmed that the band have since been removed from the event. While no reason has been cited, there were angry responses from attendees past and present owing to allegations made against lead vocalist David DiSanto by his ex-wife.

70000 Tons Of Metal will sail from Miami on January 30th and last until February 3rd, during which time the ship will dock in Bimini, Bahamas.
