The Amenta Post 'Parasite' Video Online
Aussie extreme industrial/death metallers THE AMENTA have made available a video called 'Parasite' which is taken from the forthcoming DVD Virus and can be viewed at this location. The band recently closed vocal auditions to replace the departed Cessium 137 - an announcement should be made soon.
Radiation 4 Announces Final Show
Radiation 4 have scheduled their final show on January 13th, 2007 at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA. The bill tentatively includes Playing Enemy, Graf Orlock and Loftus as well.
The band announced that they will be going on indefinite hiatus earlier this year stating that it was due to "a mutual understanding of our individual ambitions, which cannot be achieved at this point in our musical career as a collective", but would play a final show. Radiation 4 previously released an album with Abacus Recordings in 2003.
After the final show, Aaron and Jon will be focusing on family, while Jose and Chris have plans to hook up with Demian and Shane of Playing Enemy in a project tentatively called Playing Doctor.

Impetigo Post Track From Upcoming Reissue Online

Dragonland Post New Song Online
A new DRAGONLAND song, entitled "Contact", has been posted online at the group's official MySpace page. The track comes off the Swedish metallers' upcoming fourth album, "Astronomy", due on November 13 via Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Starfall" was recorded at Studio Fredman (IN FLAMES, HAMMERFALL, DIMMU BORGIR) in Gothenburg with producer Fredrik Nordström.
Commented guitarist Olof Mörck: "We're planning to post a few new songs online at MySpace for your previewing pleasure, and first up is 'Contact', a furiously fast metal epic with all the blazing guitar/keyboard playing and soaring vocals you have come to expect from DRAGONLAND through the last six years. This song is a part of the more traditional fast DRAGONLAND sound, though spiced up with really thrashy and down tuned guitars, and is probably a welcome listen for the people who thought the 'Starfall' album was too slow and soft. Domination Black Post New Music Online
Finnish horror metallers DOMINATION BLACK have uploaded the songs "Ghost of the Nightfall", "Follow The Fear" and "The Cemetary" on their MySpace page. The tracks come off the group's second album, "The Dark Legacy", which will be relesed in Scandinavia on November 15 via Finland's Poison Arrow Records (the rest of the world will receive the CD in December).
According to the band, "it is by far the heaviest release in the history of DOMINATION BLACK. We are all extremely happy with the result."

Roadrunner Records has launched an official YouTube page at this location. Norway's TRAIL OF TEARS has added dates in Toluca, Cuernavaca and Pachuca on its November Mexican tour featuring special guests THE LEGION OF HETHERIA. In addition, some of the previously announced dates have been moved or replaced. The updated schedule is as follows:

Swallow the Sun Announce New Album Details
Finnish melodic death/doom metallers SWALLOW THE SUN have set "Hope" as the title of their third album, due on February 7, 2007 release via Spinefarm Records. The follow-up to 2005's "Ghosts of Loss" was recorded at Seawolf Studios in Helsinki and was mastered on Oct. 16 at Finnvox studios with Minerva Pappi.

Defiance Check In From The Studio
Legendary Oakland thrashers DEFIANCE have issued the following update:
"Just wanted to check back in to let you all know that the recording sessions last weekend at Trident Studios turned out great! The guitars are almost done! Jim (Adams) laid down some heavy crunch tones and leads. Doug (Haggington) added his brand of metal afterwards and the results sound killer!
The plan now is for two or three more recording sessions for Doug to finish his leads and harmonies and for Mike (Kaufmann) to record his bass tracks. After that it is time for Steev (Esquivel) to lay down some wicked vocals.

Naglfar Reveal New Album Title and Track Listing
Swedish black metal titans NAGLFAR have posted the following message on their official web site:
"So we've finally finished writing and arranging all the songs, and the drums for the album has been recorded at the Toontrack studio here in Umeå. Now the time has come to start recording the guitars, which shouldn't turn out to be any problem. The title of the album has been set to be 'Harvest', and will tentatively include the following attacks of audial terror:
