Vince Neil And The Tonight Show Let F-Word Slip
NBC hasn't received any calls about the F-word that Motley Crue rocker Vince Neil dropped during the live New Year's Eve broadcast of "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."
"Happy ----ing New Year, Tommy!" Neil said to bandmate Tommy Lee shortly after midnight, USA Today reported Monday.
The remark was carried to viewers on the East Coast but was edited out before it was broadcast in the West.
Leno normally tapes his show for broadcast later in the evening but does a live version for New Year's Eve. He had never a problem with profanities before, although the word has slipped out from time to time on other programs.
"The network has not received any calls regarding the incident," an NBC official, who asked not be identified, said Monday.

Tracks like "Worlds Are Comin' Through", "Shades And Shadows", "Inside The Monster", "My Invisible Enemy" and "Lifeline" do REALLY kick ass and represent Brainstorm better than ever! A few days ago we also had our final fotoshooting and are now ready to shoot the next videoclip for the upcoming single "All Those Words" (to be released March, 7th.). Stay tuned for the final tracklist, some amazing infos about the single, the album and.... us :-), some pics... and be prepared for the most intense BS songs EVER!
Dimmu Borgir To Re-Record Second Album
The following update has been posted at Dimmu Borgir's official web site:
"Everyone! We just wanted to inform you, what's up in the Dimmu camp as we're about to leave a very eventful year… There haven't been many updates here lately, and the main reason for this is because we've pretty much kept a low profile since we came home from Ozzfest. Thanks to Ozzy and Sharon for the opportunity they gave us playing the mainstage, everything ran smoothly and professional. The way it should be.
"In the upcoming year we will first and foremost work on material for the next album, plus playing a very few exclusively selected festival dates during summer, which will be advertised here later as soon they're confirmed.
"In the meantime some of us will be working on other projects as well, while Shagrath [vocals] and Silenoz [guitar] most likely also will re-record the 2nd album, 'Stormblåst' [originally released in 1996 via Cacophonous Records], sometime in 2005. More info as soon shit hits the fan!"

Megadeth To Film Of Mice And Men Video
Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message on the group's web site:
"While 2005 brought much suffering and sadness to many people at its end, I hope for most of us here that were separated from such tragedy, that you had a terrific 2004.
"My heart still goes out to the Abbott family, the families who have lost loved ones in the ongoing war in Iraq and Afghanistan, and also the many millions of people around the world that had their family or a friend touched or worse by the Tsunami.
"Trivial as it may seem after saying that, I look forward to great 2005 with you all, near and far. As this final Megadeth record and tour run its course, I have met or 're-met' many of you Droogs out there; some new, some old, some crusty.
"Megadeth plans on doing the Euro/UK tour as you know, then tentatively to Japan and Oz, and hopefully South America, to be finished with one last victory lap of the States this summer.
"Since this is the final year of Megadeth, it is also fitting to remind you that it has been twenty of the best years (and hardest) of my life. Yes, 'Killing Is My Business...' came out just a wee bit less than 20 years ago and by this May, it will have been our 20th anniversary. It is also fitting that a complete lyric book come out of all my songs, which will be out in the late spring/early summer.
"On a good note, I got to wish [former Megadeth bassist] David Ellefson Happy New Years [Friday] night (I called him). Nothing more to report there.
"This month we, Glen, Shawn, Jimmy, and myself will play a 30th anniversary party for ESP, as well as us all roaming around winter NAMM. I know I will at least see El Duce there! Also, there will be a new video shot for 'Of Mice and Men' since it is going to be the next single.
"Then it is off to Ireland, and I cannot wait to do this last tour of Euro/UK, especially with Diamond Head. We are still trying to add 8 more shows to the end so that it is a round number of 30 shows over there and will keep you posted.
"My move [to Los Angeles from Phoenix] is almost over and shortly after that, I imagine the creative juices will start flowing for what GOD holds in store for me next with my career."
Fred Durst Says That He's Not A Poser
Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has posted the following message on the band's official web site:
"Happy new beginnings to the [Limp Bizkit] army. A reality check for the posers is what 2005 has in store. Fuck them all.
"When I say posers, I don't exactly mean haters. We are all haters in some form and display this at some point in our lives.
"Posers, to me, are people who are doing things in their lives, specifically making music for the masses without it being honest and consisting of what they are truly about inside themselves, but more like a half-assed attempt to create a formula that displays their true colors aren't so true.
"Quality of music or the success of a band does not determine whether someone is a poser to me personally. It's when you know in your heart that someone's shit is as phony as a fucking three-dollar bill.
"Regardless of being liked or disliked, even hated, I can sleep at night knowing I've always been true to what I feel inside and have never gave a shit about what anyone thinks about it. I'm on my own path and have stayed true to my heart my whole existence. I also don't believe someone is a poser when they have an identity crisis and are only trying to find their way to get to the next level of their life.
"But this is all my perspective and I am an individual with my own views and perceptions. So don't confuse what I am saying and think my revenge has anything to do with haters and those who don't understand Limp Bizkit and myself.
"I told you I think it's cool to be a hater because I happen to be one myself. Clarity is on my side right now and remember, beauty is through the eye of the beholder.
"It's on."

Gaia Epicus Seeking New Drummer
Norwegian power metallers Gaia Epicus have parted ways with drummer Mikael Duna. "He will put the drumsticks away for good!" the band write on their web site. "He has made this decision because he just didn't feel like playing anymore. Gaia Epicus says thanks for all the good times and good drumming that he did for the band, and wish him all the best. Mikael will, however, play any shows that might come up until we have found a new drummer.
"We are now looking for a replacement. So, if you are an excellent drummer [who] loves our kind of music then please contact us for a audition. P.S.: You must be over
18 years old and live in North of Norway (or be willing to move if you're the right one for the band)."
As previously reported, Gaia Epicus will have their second album, "Symphony of Glory", mastered on or around January 10 at Bazement Studios (Mob Rules, Vanden Plas, Symphony X) in Germany.
"Symphony of Glory" is scheduled for release in February/March via Sound Riot Records.
