Having completed the 40-date Preaching To The Perverted Tour with Pigface & Godhead prior to the holiday break, the St. Louis-based quartet, Gravity Kills, is gearing to plunge headlong into a highly anticipated Winter tour with Sevendust and Flaw.
"We are excited to be getting back on the road, and it is an added bonus that we will be out with such a great band and such cool guys...Sevendust," enthuses vocalist Jeff Scheel.
Gravity Kills will be introducing fans tracks from their Sanctuary Records debut, 'Superstarved', which is scheduled for release on March 19th. The first single from the album will be "One Thing" and will impact at Rock Radio on January 28th and Alternative Radio on February 12th. Produced by industrial mastermind, Martin Atkins, the album is a mission statement for Gravity Kills, adeptly blurring the lines between the three key elements of their music- Rock, Industrial and Pop. Dynamo Needs a Miracle
The future for the Dynamo Festival is looking very bleak. Long established as one of Europe’s premier metal events, this Dutch festival had to be cancelled at the last minute in 2001 because of the foot & mouth epidemic, having been reduced from a three-day spectacular to just one day in 2000 due to permit problems. The latest information from the organizers is that Dynamo 2002 is a no-go, unless ‘a miracle happens.’
Mayorga To Produce Two Hit Creeper
Soulfly/Medication drummer Roy Mayorga has been moonlighting with Los Angeles crew Two Hit Creeper. He’s been producing the band’s new album, which will be released by the Division 1 label, owned by Orgy’s Jay Gordon. Two Hit Creeper have been described by Gordon as ‘death accordion rock’.
