Broken Hope Breaks with Martyr Music

Beach Park, Illinois-based death metallers Broke Hope have officially split with Martyr Music Group in an attempt to get the follow-up to 1999's Grotesque Blessings recorded and represented by a new label. "The album has been written since last spring and we are eager to finally get it recorded," proclaimed the official Broken Hope website. Broken Hope's as-yet-untitled seventh full-length will be the first with a new rhythm section. Bassist Sean Baxter and drummer Jeff Bumgardner replace Shaun Glass and Ryan Stanek, respectively

Soilwork's Natural Born Chaos

Swedish melodic death metallers Soilwork have confirmed the title of their upcoming full-length as Natural Born Chaos.

Soilwork's Devin Townsend-produced album was recorded at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden and features 10 new songs for the European and North American markets. The Japanese release of Natural Born Chaos will feature the fan-titled cut "Mercury Shadow."
