Spineshank Frontman Officially Gone

In a recent interveiw with Tommy Decker the drummer of SPINESHANK he states Jonny has officially left the band due to "discrepancies" within the band. Here is the official statement:

"The rumour is true. It is an amicable split and is mainly due to musical differences. The four of us have accomplished a lot of things together, the biggest being our most recent Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance for 'Smothered'. We are all very proud of the music that we have made over the years but the time has come for us all to move on. As for the future of SpineShank - Mike, Rob and myself will begin the search for a new singer as we write new material and continue to build upon the foundation we have made as SpineShank.
We wish Jonny the best of luck in all of his future endeavors"

Zilch (AHC) Joins Grade 8

Aaron Zilch formerly of AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE, TOYS and PINATA, has joined GRADE 8. Here's what Zilch had to say:

"I have joined GRADE 8 on Lava/Atlantic records. We are currently in Vegas writing the band's second record. The bassist and drummer are also new to the band. STITCH, formerly of TOYS w/ Ghost of MOTOGRATER and recently of PINATA w/ Meegs of COAL CHAMBER, is now providing the low end. Wade Hagbloom, another MN boy formerly of the amazing Gabriel and thee Apocalypse, is destroying cymbals on a daily basis. All the guys are really fucking cool. We're moving at a fast pace, wrote and demoed a bunch of songs in the first 3 weeks of Dec. and we have tons more in various stages of completion. We spend about 6 hours in the studio daily, get done about 6 or 7 and then go destroy vegas nightly. Good times. Should have the record done and be on tour within 5 or 6 mos, if that. In the meantime you can check out tunes from the first record in the True Crime game and an upcomming episode of the Sopranos.

Well I'll keep you all updated and I hope 2004 holds as much promise for you as it does for me."
