"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Spineshank Frontman Officially Gone

In a recent interveiw with Tommy Decker the drummer of SPINESHANK he states Jonny has officially left the band due to "discrepancies" within the band. Here is the official statement:

"The rumour is true. It is an amicable split and is mainly due to musical differences. The four of us have accomplished a lot of things together, the biggest being our most recent Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance for 'Smothered'. We are all very proud of the music that we have made over the years but the time has come for us all to move on. As for the future of SpineShank - Mike, Rob and myself will begin the search for a new singer as we write new material and continue to build upon the foundation we have made as SpineShank.
We wish Jonny the best of luck in all of his future endeavors"

Spineshank is conceived as a whole, and not one member is going to change that.

oh no they were my favourite band for two things: music and Jonny... SpineShank without Jonny isn't real SpineShank. no one will ever take the place of this band in my heart
