Damageplan Plan National Tour, More Updates

DAMAGEPLAN has announced that they are prepping a national tour that will result in full blown chaos. Details to come soon.

DAMAGEPLAN will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Monday, January 26 . The live show begins at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET , and fans are encouraged to call in with questions during the program at (800) 344-ROCK (7625). DAMAGEPLAN will be signing their new album in Dallas on February 10th at 5pm and hanging out with all of you. Here are the details...make sure to be there:

Meschalina Release EP, MP3 And Video

"SOMETHING 2 die 4", the debut EP by MESCHALINA (an Electro-Rap-Core band from Rome which mix a R.A.T.M.-like Rap-Core and electronic music), is out. You can download the single (mp3) and the videoclip (DivX or Mpeg) in the "Share" section of the band's web site.

With All Sincerity Take Unexpected Hiatus

WITH ALL SINCERITY has been forced to cancel their upcoming tours and announce that the band will be on hiatus until further notice. Their show in San Antonio, TX this Thursday the 15th at Sin 13 will be the band's last performance for awhile.

Fans will want to make the trip to see a special surprise guest performing with the band. In the meantime, guitarist Ryan Jensen and bassist Greg Rivera have announced plans to continue writing and recruiting members for an all new project.

Deadalive Becomes Manic Ride Records

Long respected as one of the best underground labels around, Deadalive Records has decided to change their name to Manic Ride Records. The label had previous releases from highly acclaimed groups like TEAR IT UP, BORN DEAD ICONS, ANNIHILATION TIME, THINK I CARE, and many more.

Next up for Manic Ride Records is the release of the long awaited R'N'R full length, scheduled for a February 17, 2004 release. Playing a hybrid of hardcore and rock'n'roll, R'N'R offer a refreshing sound that has gained them a lot of attention. This record is sure to be amazing.

After R'N'R's album, Manic Ride Records will be releasing the United Kingdom's SEX MANIACS on March 23, 2004, as well as a full length (featuring beautiful artwork by Pushead) from FULL SPEED AHEAD and an EP from TORNADO OF KNIVES on April 13, 2004.

In regards to the name change, many of the releases previously under the Deadalive name will be reissued throughout 2004, many with new artwork and additional features. More information on these will be announced as the re-release dates approach.

Iced Earth Chart Positions

ICED EARTH's latest album, "The Glorious Burden", has shifted 8,626 copies in its first week of release in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, to land at position No. 145 on The Billboard 200 chart. In additon the album have debuted at No. 15 on the German charts, No. 24 in Austria, No. 30 in Finland, No. 80 in France and No. 77 in Switzerland.

The band, who were recently joined by former JUDAS PRIEST frontman Tim Owens, are gearing up for a full-scale North American tour beginning April 18, with support coming from CHILDREN OF BODOM. A European trek with PRIMAL FEAR and THUNDERSTONE will kick off on March 18 in Tilburg, Holland.

Helloween Confirmed For Wacken

Veteran German power metallers HELLOWEEN have been officially confirmed for the 2004 edition of Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place August 5-8, 2004 in Wacken, Germany.

According to an official newsletter from the festival's organizers, next year's event will be a celebration of the festival's 15th anniversary with special performances by "new hits, old hits, reunions, newcomers and top acts."

Heaven Shall Burn Sign To Century Media

Heaven Shall Burn have officially signed with Century Media Records. Century Media will release "Antigone“ in Europe on April 26th. The initial pressing of the album will be a limited edition version with special packaging that includes two bonus cover tracks. More details on the release and an exact North American release date will be announced shortly. Additionally, the album will be available in South America via Brazil’s Liberation Records and Lifeforce Records will taking care of the LP version, which will be also released on April 26th, as well as a future limited CDEP release for Heaven Shall Burn following later this year.
