Biohazard Recording New Album

BIOHAZARD have commenced the recording process for their new album, tentatively due early next year.

"We just did a few shows over the weekend... one in Long Island and another in New Jersey," guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei writes on the band's web site. "Long Island was awesome, it's been a long time since we played there! Great set list...full of old shit...a few new songs... We hoped to be playing some new material but shit didn't work out. We're in the studio right now working on the new album, hope to have it out during the winter."

In other news, BIOHAZARD's recording studio, which was previously known as Biohazard Studios, has opened under the new name of Underground Sound Studios.

Dead To Fall Returns

As you may recall, Dead To Fall lost three band members in late-August. Since then, speculation regarding their possible demise has been abound. Well, as they had originally promised, a new lineup has indeed been solidified and the group will once again begin playing out in mid-December. Joining the band are Justin Jakimiak on bass, Matt Matera (presumably of 7 Angels 7 Plagues noteriety) on guitar, and Evan Kaplan on drums, while vocalist Jonathan Hunt is apparently the only remaining member from the previous lineup. The band still hopes to add a second guitar player, though they will perform as a four-piece for now. Following their comeback show on December 9th in Chicago, the group will embark on the following tour:

12/26 Indiana @ TBA
12/27 Louisville KY @ TBA
12/28 Nashville TN @ The Muse
12/29 Alabama @ TBA
12/30 Atlanta GA @ TBA

1/6 Daytona FL @ TBA
1/7 Valdosta GA @ Vito's Pizzeria
1/8 Savannah GA @ Teasers café

Site Update

New Metalunderground.com Design!

If you’re a repeat visitor, you might notice some changes around here. I’ve rolled out a new design on the site. The site doesn’t look incredibly different, but the new layout is less cluttered and is more flexible to accommodate all the new content we plan on adding. Some other things you might notice are that the text and colors have been further brightened for greater readability and contrast.

In the immediate future, you should also see a new home page, commenting on news items, and news by band, with a bunch more stuff on the horizon.
