Seether's Morgan And Evanescence's Lee Together

SEETHER singer and guitarist Shaun Morgan recently strolled down the red carpet at the American Music Awards with his girlfriend, EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee, in full view of the media. Morgan told Launch why they took that stroll. "It was intended to lay some rumors to rest that involved Amy and I, 'cause we've been together now for about six months, and we wanted to lay all the rumors to rest and say, 'Look, here we go, we are together.' It was never a secret, but I was involved in a divorce which had taken a long time to resolve, and it was just something that we had to wait before we could let everyone know about."

Morgan says he hopes to have Amy and SEVENDUST frontman Lajon Witherspoon sing on the next SEETHER album, which is due out in the spring or summer of 2004.

SEETHER will continue touring in the U.S. until December 21. After a holiday break, they'll do a two-week tour of their homeland, South Africa, then settle down to make their second album.

Korn Seeks To Regain Momentum

"I always hoped, but there's no way to imagine what it would be like," drummer David Silveria tells Geoff Harkness of the Cleveland Scene, remembering Korn's gradual rise to fame in the mid-'90s. "We saw other bands that were big and thought it would be cool. We tried and tried, and it just kind of happened."

Damageplan's 'Save Me' Planned As Single

Expect the first single from the recently formed DAMAGEPLAN (featuring ex-PANTERA stalwarts Vinne Paul, Diamond Darrel, and DIESEL MACHINE member Pat Lachman, etc.) to be called 'Save Me'. The band's debut, being released through Elektra, 'New Found Power' will see the light of day come February 10th, with the single appearing a few weeks before the CD release.

It's presently unclear if the 3 previously leaked songs that were tentatively called 'Reborn', 'New Found Power', and 'Breathing New Life' will be chosen for release as a single, or if any of those 3 songs are in fact the single that will be released.
