In Flames Confirm Album Title, Tracklisting!
In Flames have confirmed Soundtrack To Your Escape as the title of the forthcoming album, due out through Nuclear Blast Europe on March 29, 2004. The band are still looking for a
North American label deal.
The tentative tracklisting for Soundtrack To Your Escape is as follows: ‘F(r)iend’, ‘The Quiet Place’, ‘Borders And Shading’, ‘Discover Me Like Emptiness’, ‘Touch Of Red’, ‘Bottled’, ‘Dead Alone’, ‘Superhero Of The Computer Rage’, ‘Like You Better Dead’, ‘Dial 595-Escape’, ‘Evil In A Closet’, ‘In Search For I’, ‘My Sweet Shadow’.
The album was produced by Örjan Örnkloo (ex-Misery Loves Co.) and Daniel Bergstrand (Meshuggah, Strapping Young Lad) in Denmark.
Hammerfall Singer Working On Solo Album
Hammerfall vocalist Joacim Cans has collaborated with Dionysus/ex-Sinergy drummer Ronny Milianowicz on three songs for Cans' forthcoming solo album. At the moment, Joacim is working with Swedish pop singer Marcus Öhrn on additional material for the CD, which is expected to surface in April 2004. Other musicians expected to make an appearance on the album include bassist Mat Sinner (Primal Fear, Sinner), drummer Mark Zonder (Fates Warning), and guitarists Stefan Elmgren (Hammerfall) and Metal Mike Chlasciak (Halford, Painmuseum).
Cans and Milianowicz have spent much of the past four years writing an epic musical called "The Conspiracy". In addition, Cans has contributed lyrics to the song "Bringer Of War", which is set to appear on the sophomore Dionysus album, "Anima Mundi", due on January 19, 2004 through AFM Records.
New Biohazard Album In Winter
Vocalist Billy left the following message on their official website:
"Yo..what's up? We just did a few shows over the weekend...one in Long Island and another in New Jersey....Long Island was awesome, it's been a long time since we played there! Great set list...full of old shit...a few new songs...we hoped to be playing some new material but shit didn't work out. We're in the studio right now working on the new album, hope to have it out during the winter.

Vintersorg: New Music Posted Online
Vintersorg, the band led by Borknagar frontman Andreas Hedlund (a.k.a. Vintersorg), have posted a four-minute 35-second MP3 file containing soundclips of five tracks that will appear on the band's forthcoming album, "The Focusing Blur". Check it out here.
The follow-up to last year's "Visions From The Spiral Generator", due in February 2004 through Napalm Records, is being described by Hedlund as "both intricate and flowing, and it holds a nice balance between the usual Vintersorg elements, like harmony and cacophony, warmth and coldness, melodism and monotonism, speed and calmness, ambience and focus..etc.. the usual Vintersorg inclements and elements."
