Feuerschwanz Posts New Video Ahead of Album
Ahead of their upcoming album "Knightclub," due out on Napalm Records shortly, German band Feuerschwanz has posted their version of the Psy tune "Gangnam Style". On the track they sing in Korean, nonetheless.
Peter Henrici, a bassist for the band Merlons Lichter at the time, originally had the idea to create a comedic medieval rock band in 2000, as he felt that the genre of medieval folk rock was taking itself too seriously. He, along with Tobias Heindl, the violinist of Fiddler's Green, and Andre Linke, a fellow bassist, came together to form Feuerschwanz. Feuerschwanz To Release First English Album
To celebrate the band's 20th anniversary in 2024, Germany's hottest band, Feuerschwanz, will release the special album, "Warriors," with all lyrics in English, on April 19, 2024. It features the brand new song "The Unholy Grail," a cover of the Assassin's Creed classic "Valhalla Calling" by Miracle Of Sound, as well as ten of the band's greatest hits in English. The band around founding member and singer Hauptmann Feuerschwanz, songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist Hodi, as well as Johanna on the violin are welcoming top-class names as guests on Warriors, such as Chris Harms (Lord Of The Lost), Francesco Cavalieri (Wind Rose), Dominum, Orden Ogan and Patty Gurdy.

The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise have confirmed a further three names for the 2023 edition of the event, which will launch in just over two weeks on January 30th from Miami, Florida, before returning on February 3rd. The announcements for the 2023 edition of 70000 Tons Of Metal are coming thick and fast with the organisers of the cruise confirming two more names for the voyage today. British death metal legends Cancer will be boarding the ship, as will German Viking metal band Wolfchant. Speaking on the announcement, Cancer said:
"We are beyond stoked to announce that we will be spreading this fatal disease called death fucking metal at the one and only 70000tons, the world's biggest heavy metal cruise in just a few weeks!
"We've definitely never played in a setting like this one, so you can imagine the four of us are quite excited about it! A good bunch of friends and bands that we love have been already announced and we'll all make a total of 60 artists playing two sets each when the whole line-up gets revealed!

Vektor Pulled From 70000 Tons Of Metal
Last night, the organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Of Metal cruise announced that Sci-Fi thrashers Vektor would be performing in the 2023 edition of the event. In the past hour, the 70000 Tons social pages have confirmed that the band have since been removed from the event. While no reason has been cited, there were angry responses from attendees past and present owing to allegations made against lead vocalist David DiSanto by his ex-wife.
70000 Tons Of Metal will sail from Miami on January 30th and last until February 3rd, during which time the ship will dock in Bimini, Bahamas.
