Maylene And The Sons of Disaster will enter the studio on December 1st to begin tracking a new album, presumably for Ferret Music. Guitarist Kelly Scott Nunn has issued the following:

"We have only a few days left on our fall tour and it has been a blast. All the bands have been so fun to hang with and have the honor of sharing the stage with. For all of those who have been waiting, we offically start tracking the new record December 1st. We are slotted until the the second week of February, then we go to Australia for Sound Wave and then hopefully start a U.S support tour for the new record in March and April.

Biohazard Posts European Tour Update

Reunited hardcore heroes Biohazard has posted the following European tour report online:

"Last night in Munich, Germany (November 15th) kicked complete ass! By far one of the best shows of the tour, we jammed for over 1 1/2 hours, probably the longest Biohazard show ever! We've changed the set around a little bit and are playing some different songs, which rocks!

"Woke up a few hours ago and found out our trailer was missing off the back of the bus, fucking halarious! This new driver we have out on tour (who's here to help out our normal driver Jerry for the long drives coming up) got a phone call from the German police saying, 'Your trailer fell off the bus and is lying in a ditch on the side of the autobahn!' What a douchebag! Someone could have easily gotten killed! So now we're sitting in some German garage's parking lot trying to figure out how we're going to get our equipment out of our mangled trailer (assuming it's in working condition) and into another trailer or rental van so we can make our way to Bern, Switzerland.

"Fucking hilarious! It still beats flippin' burgers!"

"What a great night it turned out to be, I'm still buzzing as I'm sure the rest of the lads are.

"Things didn't go exactly to plan, we had a bit of a panic on the Friday evening when some of the gear we were going to use got stuck in transit. A few frantic phone calls and a Trip to Sheppards Bush later and all was good. Thanks James (ps, I will get in touch about one of those Peavey cabs, best sound I've had in years !)

"So we roll up to the venue at around 2:30pm and it's fucking HUGE. The queue of people was already massive as well. Shit your pants scarey time. More...

NIN Announces Ilan Rubin To The Lineup

Nine Inch Nails has announced Lostprophets drummer Ilan Rubin to the lineup, who will replace Josh Freese, who is parting with the band at the end of the current North American leg of the tour. Here's the announcement from Trent Reznor:

"With great pride and excitement I announce the addition of Ilan Rubin to the lineup beginning next year. I had the chance to see Ilan playing his ass off at Reading and Leeds a couple summers ago and he blew me away. We recently invited him out to rehearse with us and he blew US away - the perfect guy to pick up the sticks after Josh leaves us at the end of the year.

"Stay tuned for some 2009 tour announcements soon."
