British thrashers Seregon has posted the following update online:

"Right, where do we start? Many of you may or may not know but around 6/7 weeks ago Alex broke his wrist which as such has put Seregon 'On Ice' for a little while, get it?

"Of course that's not to say that we have been completely shutdown as we're sowing the seeds for 2009 but as for 2008 we hope to play our last show of the year with MUNICIPAL WASTE at The Croft in Bristol on December 10th.

"As for the new CD 'A Future Expired', that we had hoped to get out for the end of year has also been put on hold. We didnt want to release a CD that we were not able to promote to the fullest out on the road.

"So now what? We look to 2009 for a new year and as such a new start, of course the new CD will be coming out in the first quarter of 2009 along with a whole bunch of new merch for you all to get your grubby mits on.

"The CD in 2009 will still will be called 'A Future Expired' and will have 5-7 tracks, you'll most likely recognise a couple of them from our live shows as we have played them both quite alot but also a good few that will be debuted live in 2009 alongside the new CD!

"A Future Expired will be recorded with Charlie 'Chuck' Creese of Burning Skies in the 1st Quarter of 2009, The artwork seen below was created by good friend Dave Maclean of Irony of Christ fame!

"The track 'Band of Brothers' from the February 2008 recording session has been uploaded for your listening pleasure alongside a live version of 'Kingdom of the Blind' and a sample of the 9 minute beast that is 'Replicators' so please comment on the MySpace and let us know what you think!"
