At Vance Replaced By Everon At ProgPower Europe

AT VANCE will not play ProgPower Europe for a currently undisclosed reason. The band is expected to make an official statement soon.

The very good news is that EVERON will replace them, the band that is already high on our list for years, but due to circumstances they had to cancel their performance twice. But this year they will finally make it and we all are looking forward to this very much."

Primal Fear Drummer Comments

PRIMAL FEAR drummer Randy Black (ANNIHILATOR, ex-REBELLION), who was recently named PRIMAL FEAR's new skinsman following the departure of Klaus Sperling, has issued the following statement to PRIMAL FEAR fans:

"First and foremost, I'd like to say I'm really looking forward to playing, recording and touring with PRIMAL FEAR. As you all know, I did the Metal Gods tour with them so I know that these guys are fun to work with but it also gave me a chance to experience them when circumstances were not favorable. I can only say that even in this very stressful and frustrating situation, they were great, conducting themselves very professionally and with integrity.

"I'd also like to make one thing clear: I had no intentions of pushing Klaus out of the band when I filled in for him on the Metal Gods tour. Klaus is a great guy and I'm sure with his talent will be successful in his future endeavors.

"I look forward to the future with PRIMAL FEAR and to performing and meeting the fans on tour. Thanks for the warm welcome I have already received."

Hammerfall News And One Crimson Night Tracklisting

Swedish melodic metallers HAMMERFALL have confirmed the track listing for their upcoming live CD/DVD, One Crimson Night , due out next year.

The CD/DVD will contain the entire concert from Lisebergshallen in Götheborg, Sweden on February 20, 2003, while the DVD will also include an "On The Road" documentary from the European part of The Crimson Crusades, as well as the gold-album ceremony held on stage in Götheborg. "We decided to edit the celebration out on the CD, as it features only talk and needs the video to make sense," guitarist Oscar Dronjak writes on the band's website. "On the other hand, we put three bonus tracks recorded in South America in May on the CD, to make that release special as well. Because of this, the releases have slightly varied cover artwork, though given the same title."

The track listing for "One Crimson Night" is as follows:

  1. Lore Of The Arcane
  2. Riders Of The Storm
  3. Heeding The Call
  4. Stone Cold
  5. Hero's Return
  6. Legacy Of Kings
  7. Bass Solo: Magnus Rosén
  8. At The End Of The Rainbow
  9. The Way Of The Warrior
  10. The Unforgiving Blade
  11. Glory To The Brave
  12. Guitar Solo: Stefan Elmgren
  13. Let The Hammer Fall
  14. Renegade
  15. Steel Meets Steel
  16. Crimson Thunder
  17. Templars Of Steel
  18. Hearts On Fire
  19. Hammerfall

With regards to the progress of his rehabilitation from the accident he suffered in early August, Oscar writes, "the rehabilitation is going really well, I have regained much of the mobility in the arm already. I have virtually no strength, and the bone is still healing inside, but the grim outlook the doctor gave me last time seems to have been a worst-case scenario, just like I hoped. The jury's still out on the pain, though, as it still hurts a bit. I see the physiotherapist once a week, and she is pleased with the progress. Therefore I am, too!"
