Behemoth to Return to US

As previously reported, Behemoth are set to make their return to the US as part of the Un-Natural Born Killers tour featuring Six Feet Under, Skinless and The Black Dahlia Murder. The Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles and XM Radio sponsored trek will kick off on October 16th in Tampa, FL. and end in late November.

Behemoth vocalist/guitarist Nergal describes his excitement over the upcoming tour, "We’re extremely excited about coming back to the US. There's been some confusion about our touring plans, but we decided to go on with Six Feet Under, and make another round across the States... We will be touring in a slightly different line-up. Unfortunately, we have to go without our new bass player Orion, but luckily we will have some help from our friend, Istvan, from California situated Black Metal band Rise. It's going to be our third tour in the U.S. and it feels really great to do it again... the shows we did along with Deicide, Danzig, Nile and Halford earlier this year proved that this is a perfect territory for spreading our message and music. If everything goes fine, we'll be playing more than 30 shows this time. Thank you for all the support. You deserve the best and u will get it! Stay strong and await the divination.”

As previously reported, confirmed dates on the Unnatural Born Killers Tour 2003 are as follows: More...

Exhumed Banned in Germany

Due to pressure from German government ratings groups, Relapse Records German distribution partner SPV has been forced to withdraw Exhumed's new record, Anatomy Is Destiny from distribution on the brink of its release and on the eve of the band's European headlining tour.

Ratings groups deemed the band photos inside Anatomy Is Destiny (‘dead shots' taken by acclaimed photographer Alex Solca) far too realistic and gruesome for mass consumption.

Vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey comments; "Censorshit...here we go again. Well, censorship is nothing new to Exhumed, especially in Germany. It never fails that someone there is hell-bent on filtering what people can see and hear. Ultimately, despite every effort on the part of both Exhumed and Relapse to release Anatomy Is Destiny the way it was intended to be released, outside pressure from government ratings groups has blocked our record from being distributed in it's current form."

A new version of Anatomy Is Destiny, devoid of band photos and lyrics, will surface in Germany-proper, in early October, but Harvey continues: More...

"Cain" comes off TIAMAT's eighth studio album, "Prey", due on October 27 through Century Media.

The self-produced CD, which is being described as one of Edlund's most personal recorded statements to date, was mixed and mastered at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland. Although it is not a concept album, there is a strong unifying theme running through each of the 13 tracks.
