Mystic Festival Announces 1st Wave Of Bands

Satyricon, the icon of Norwegian black metal, Thy Art Is Murder, who seek a new face of brutality, Lord Of The Lost, blending glam and gothic, death metal institution Asphyx and riff masters Orange Goblin - these are the first artists confirmed for Mystic Festival 2024.

Thy Art Is Murder Reveal Their New Frontman

Amid a wave of controversy, it appears that Australian deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder has introduced Tyler Miller, known for his work with Aversions Crown, as their new vocalist. The band surprised fans by digitally releasing their latest album "Godlike" with newly re-recorded vocals by the then-unidentified musician. This change was made without prior notice.

The decision to part ways with their former frontman CJ McMahon came as a result of his increasingly controversial statements on various topics, including gender identity, which had caused division among the band's fanbase.
