Death Dealer Union Shares "Ill Fated" Video

West coast-based metal unit Death Dealer Union - featuring frontwoman Lena Scissorhands of modern metal leaders Infected Rain - will finally release their debut album, entitled "Initiation," this Friday, September 22, 2023 via Napalm Records!

Following searing recent singles "The Vow of Silence" and "The Integument", today, the band has released a third single - the dynamic "Ill Fated". The track juxtaposes 80s-influenced clean guitars and sinister metallic riffs as Lena displays her soaring trademark vocal delivery and introspective wordplay. The video features eye-catching imagery, sets and costumes, making for a striking viewing experience!

Bruce Dickinson Confirms First Album In 18 Years

Renowned around the world as one of the greatest and most distinctive heavy metal vocalists of all time, Bruce Dickinson will be releasing a brand new solo album in early 2024 on BMG Records. Entitled "The Mandrake Project" it sees him reunited with long-time musical collaborator and producer Roy Z.

The Mandrake Project will be Dickinson’s seventh solo album and his first since "Tyranny Of Souls" in 2005.

Dickinson explains, "This album has been a very personal journey for me and I am extremely proud of it. Roy Z and I have been planning, writing and recording it for years, and I am very excited for people to finally hear it. I’m even more excited at the prospect of getting out on the road with this amazing band that we have put together, to be able to bring it to life. We’re planning to play as many shows as we can in as many places as possible, for as many people as we can!

"As for what The Mandrake Project actually is… all will be revealed soon!"

The first live shows to be announced are in Mexico and Brazil in April and May 2024, with further touring plans to be revealed in due course.

Brutal Assault Announces First Bands For 2024

Behemoth headlines the first announcement of bands for Brutal Assault's 27th edition. Other bands include Emperor, Architects, Brutus, Ufomammut, Motionless In White, Bodysnatcher, Left to Die and Legion of the Damned.

The Czech Republic based metal festival will take place August 7-10 at Josefov Fortress.

Blackbraid Premiere New Guitar Playthrough Video

In anticipation of their upcoming tour alongside Gaerea and Wolves in the Throne Room, Sgah’gahsowáh, the creative force behind indigenous black metal outfit Blackbraid, has unveiled a new video today showcasing his guitar prowess on the track "The Wolf That Guides The Hunter’s Hand" from Blackbraid II.

This video marks the band's first release since the incident at Midgardsblot, where they were allegedly removed from the event due to unruly behavior. Sgah’gahsowáh claims that their expulsion was racially motivated.

Putting past troubles aside, Blackbraid is now gearing up for a U.S. tour alongside Gaerea and Wolves in the Throne Room, aptly named the "Crypt of Ancestral Knowledge Tour." Better Lovers (Ex-TDEP, Etc.) Debut New Song Live

On September 19th, the emerging metalcore supergroup Better Lovers graced the stage at the Brighton Music Hall in Boston, MA. During their performance, the band unveiled a new, unreleased track for the first time. Footage of this live debut has been shared by fans on the internet.

Better Lovers boasts an impressive lineup, featuring former Every Time I Die members Jordan Buckley, Stephen Micciche, and Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, alongside former The Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato and Fit For An Autopsy guitarist Will Putney.
