Nightrage Posts New Music Video Online
Nightrage has released a music video for the single, "The Damned", featured on the forthcoming album, "Wolf To Man," where the band invites us to a mesmerizing melodic musical journey, telling the truthful story that guides us all the way to the inevitable demise of mankind. The music delivers a delicate and well-balanced blend between brutality and melody, as well as an intricate mix of thrashing riffs and hook filled choruses.
"The Damned" is out now on iTunes and Spotify via Despotz Records. Watch the new video below.
The band says, "Humans have given up on living for real and now just live for the next cheap thrill not giving a shit how to make it to the next day. It's more important to have many “likes” on social media than it is to take care of or interact with the ones living around you. We and our bodies are just empty shells now losing the last of our damned souls to the cheap thrill of fake life online. It's our own fault. Hate us and blame us. We are the damned!"
This relentless story of extinction is told with as much aggression as it is with intriguing and mesmerizing melodies. Memorable hooks and some of the catchiest choruses that metal has seen in decades, does nothing to compromise the brutality and honesty that Nightrage is known for. More...

Grave Digger Raises The Dead In London
With all the many sub genres and styles in metal today, sometimes the old guard gets shuffled away or forgotten about. Those still paying attention however will discover many groups still performing the classic heavy metal sound, both old and new. Tonight was a mixture of both, as German metal stalwarts Grave Digger came to the Tufnell Park Dome, bringing with them Swiss up and comers Burning Witches.
The Dome is a fine little venue, with a stage big enough to accommodate some props and smoke, which definitely helps at a show like this. It may be a little uncommon, but the venue began filling up quite early, due to the buzz and excitement of seeing Burning Witches perform in the United Kingdom for the first time. The hype was something well worth believing in, as the five women from Brugg put on one hell of a show. Lead singer Seraina Telli has been referred to several times as "the female Rob Halford" and she's very deserving of this comparison, boasting a voice which soars like an eagle and pierces like a bullet. Former Exodus Singer Launches New Band
Bloodmoon Ritual are the new band who describe themselves at "a perfect hybrid of metal, groove, thrash, and rock and roll!"
The word “supergroup” is truly the most accurate adjective to describe this group of men. Vocalist Rob Dukes spent over 10 years fronting Bay Area legends, Exodus. Drummer Greg Hall played with Arizona’s Sacred Reich for over 25 years. On guitar and bass respectively, are current members of LA’s legendary Dark Angel, Eric Meyer and Michael Gonzalez. And, finally rounded out with virtuoso guitarist Chris Cannella, currently fronting Autumn’s End.
These men have performed on the biggest stages of Europe and the US, and delivered records that have become true milestones in the metal world. With a pedigree like this, Bloodmoon Ritual promises to deliver a sonic punch that will absolutely decimate the music world.
Updates to follow.

Kissin' Dynamite Riding High On "Ecstasy"
As time goes on, old things become new again. There are many bands, particularly in rock and metal, who take older styles of the genre and make it sound fresh once more. One such band is Germany's own, Kissin' Dynamite, who have taken the stadium rock and classic heavy metal style and made it sound exciting and new once again.
At a recent show in Bristol, where Kissin' Dynamite opened for countrymen Powerwolf and Swedish outfit, Amaranthe (see review here), I had the pleasure of meeting up with one of the band's guitarists, Jim Müller to talk all about the new album, "Ecstasy," covering a band they're touring with and how it feels to become successful so young. You can watch the interview in full below. More...
