Ingested Debuts "Pantheon" Music Video

UK death metallers Ingested today drops their latest single, "Pantheon," upon the masses. The brutalizing new hymn comes by way of the band‘s latest full-length, "The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams," set for release on April 5th via Metal Blade Records. You can check out the clip below.

Elaborates frontman Jason Evans, "I wrote ’Pantheon‘ when I was suffering from a heavy bout of imposter syndrome. We've done all these big tours with all these huge bands, bands we grew up idolizing, and now we're rubbing shoulders with giants so to speak. It's about questioning if you belong, if you're good enough, am I able to keep up with my peers? Can I fill the shoes of my idols once they are gone? Do I deserve it?" More...

Soil Announces 2024 UK Tour Dates

SOiL will return to the UK for the first time since 2019 this coming November. Alongside the Chicago heavyweights is support from (Hed)PE, Nonpoint, and the return of Texas nu metal pioneers The Union Underground.

SOiL bassist Tim King adds: "To share this 'Scars only' event with our wonderful UK fans is going to be super exciting. On top of that, to also be alongside all our dear friends in (Hed)PE, Nonpoint, and The Union Underground is going to make this a tour to remember for many years to come."

Rage Shares "Cold Desire" Lyric Video

Today will see the arrival of the brand-new RAGE single and lyric video for the song "Cold Desire". The song is also included on the upcoming double studio album "Afterlifelines," which is scheduled to be released on March 29th.

Great events cast their (apparently equally significant) shadows before them: German Metal band Rage have announced the arrival of their latest studio album "Afterlifelines" on March 29th, 2024. The double album will consist of a total of 21 songs, including an intro, interlude and outro. Remarkably, the two records feature different musical approaches: "The first CD is called ‘Afterlife’ and comprises songs that we recorded as a trio, while the material on the second CD ‘Lifelines’ also includes classical orchestral arrangements," explains singer and bassist Peavy Wagner. Wagner and his two band mates Jean Bormann (guitar) and Vassilios “Lucky” Maniatopoulos (drums) have cut more than 94 minutes of new Rage music, including what Wagner calls a “20-minute grand finale.” More...

Accept Releases "Humanoid" Music Video

Legendary heavy metal titans Accept have unveiled the first single from forthcoming album "Humanoid" (26th April, Napalm Records) - the title track. The hard-hitting first single features razor-sharp riffs in true Accept style and comments on our reliance on technology. The dystopian atmosphere of the accompanying video compliments the track perfectly, depicting a stark contrast between a video wall and the band performing live in front of it. You can check out the video below.

Accept on "Humanoid": "The song plays with the omnipresent topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI). In a strange way, we have entered exciting times now… This Digital Revolution has a huge impact, probably bigger than anything humankind has ever gone through. The Industrial Revolution was huge, but this might be even bigger, and we're just at the beginning of it. However, I'm also a little afraid that humanity gets lost and pushed aside in all this stuff. The song is pretty impactful and provoking!" More...

Take Offense To Release New Album In May

US Crossover unit Take Offense have announced the release of new album "T.O.tality" on 10th May via MNRK Heavy and are streaming the first single "Greetings From Below." You can check out the music video for the track at the bottom of the page.

Chula Vista’s Take Offense forge ahead towards new frontiers on "T.O.tality." After nearly two decades of grinding and the accompanying blood/sweat, Take Offense have mastered their craft, reaching the pinnacle of their crossover style. "T.O.tality," their fourth overall album and label debut for MNRK Heavy, is marked with a sense of modernity– - incorporating the hard-driving ethos of thrash, the finesse of speed metal, the sneering tenacity of hardcore all while nodding to their home of Southern California.

Take Offense look toward the tone and attitude of their California counterparts– bands like Excel and Suicidal Tendencies who also leaned heavily into skate aesthetics but worshipped Sunset Strip-and-adjacent guitar dieties like Warren Di Martini and Eddie Van Halen. "T.O.tality" is a love letter to that scene and those times, delivered in the form of an armada of fourteen nitro-equipped tracks that explode through barricades of genre convention and emptying the clip with fresh ideas. It’s a tribute to local heroes with familiar approaches that are wholly and undoubtedly Take Offense.

Today they’ve shared "T.O.tality’s" opening track and lead single "Greetings From Below" which “touches on certain Mexica beliefs of our underworlds,” reveals vocalist Anthony Herrera. "It’s believed these are places we go to when we die, but also when we go to sleep, in our dreams and nightmares. Our underworlds also correlate to our waking state as well and we usually experience them in the form of troubles or obstacles we face in our everyday life." More...
