"Stand United" features nine brand new songs produced with Dennis Ward (Magnum, Unisonic), as well as a cover of the 80s pop rock classic "Talking In Your Sleep," originally recorded by The Romantics but giving it a metal twist in the style of Firewind. Axel Rudi Pell To Release New Album In June
No doubt about it: The world would be a much poorer place without Axel Rudi Pell.
On his 22nd (!) studio album "Risen Symbol," the Bochum-based guitarist and songwriter continues to fly the melodic hard rock flag without watering down his style with pseudo-modern stylistic variations or expendable studio gimmicks. At the same time, he is constantly looking for new influences, exciting inspirations and catchy hooks.
One of the best things about ARP’s anthems is that they are perfectly tailored to the charismatic voice of frontman Johnny Gioeli. The American vocalist is one of the most eminent rock singers worldwide and, together with Pell, former Rainbow drummer Bobby Rondinelli, and the two longstanding ARP members Ferdy Doernberg (keyboards) and Volker Krawczak (bass), has been an integral part of a perfectly oiled machine for more than ten years, wowing fans and media alike.
"Risen Symbol" will be available on Steamhammer/SPV from June 14, 2024. For all those who can’t wait, April 3, 2024 will see the arrival of the lead single "Guardian Angel" followed on May 22, 2024 by "Darkest Hour." More...
Ministry Debuts "New Religion" Music Video
Ministry’s 16th studio album "HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES" is out today via Nuclear Blast Records. After months of teasing album singles and videos for "Goddamn White Trash," plus "Just Stop Oil," and "B.D.E." the six-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi platinum act also has another new track out today with "New Religion." You can check out the video below.
Says band founder and leader Al Jourgensen of the track,
"All traditional faiths seem to pale in comparison to our new ‘Deity’ Media."
Over the course of the album’s nine tracks, Jourgensen is righteously cantankerous as ever about a fucked up world ripe for a boot up its ass. Like always, he's merely looking around at the same dumpster fire we all are, but he's got a microphone and uses it well to rage on about the state of the world.
Joined by Ministry’s current frontline of musicians – John Bechdel (keyboards), Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto (guitars), Roy Mayorga (drums) and Paul D’Amour (bass) – "HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES" also has a slew of special guest contributors including Gogol Bordello’s Eugene Hutz, long-time collaborator and Lard companion Jello Biafra and Corrosion of Conformity frontman Pepper Keenan.
